Travel stop that works

When looking for quick and pleasant and reasonable this is the place. Surprisingly good pasta. It was reasonably quiet so we could hear one another even though the crowd was young families.

Im not sure what has happened here over the last couple of years but this place was once a good place to eat, but no more. Coming back to redeem a complimentary lunch from a horrible meal on Mother's Day, we didn't last long. My wife and I both ordered salads that arrived room temperature. Two bite into my wife... More

We arrived for lunch just as they were closing the kitchen. The Chef and staff were very accommodating and stayed open just for us with no menu restrictions. We had a tomato based fish chowder and salad with ahi tuna that was cooked to perfection. We ate on the patio and relaxed over our glass of wine. The service was... More

BG is NOT known for atmospheric sophistication in is restaurants or for any sort of fine dining, so the Brickyard is a really nice surprise. It is best for an intimate repast with a friend or friends. Not too often are you plagued by self-actualized, yuppie rug-rats and usually a quiet, sophisticated, adult atmosphere reigns. These factors combined with their... More

We had a graduation celebration for 34 people. We were seated on the patio which was very quiet and intimate for our group. They have heaters that keep you toasty warm and great decorative lighting that gives it ambiance. We had a buffet dinner and everyone had plenty to eat and several went back for seconds and there was still... More

We have eaten at the Brickyard several times when we have been in the area for the Glasgow Highland Games and have always enjoyed it. The food is excellent, good selection, and service was top notch. Prices were very reasonable also. It was definitely a dining experience rather than just a place to eat. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

My husband has eaten numerous times at this restaurant on business and our son wanted to try it so we decided to meet there for a meal. After what we heard it was a disappointment. First of all they have allowed the outside to become run down...weeds along the front etc. It was raining the day we went in and... More

I love this restaurant the staff is very friendly and well trained. The food seems very fresh and well prepared. The portions are large and very well presented. They have a full bar which was nice and a Moscatto to die for. I suggest everyone try something once and make your own opinion as everyone has one.

For years The Brickyard was my absolute favorite for a nice dinner downtown. My past few visits have been so disappointing. We were just in Saturday night and my dinner was served cold. Drinks were good and service okay although two of the guests at our table had their dinners mixed up, one was vegetarian and the other meat lovers.... More

The Brickyard is located in the historic downtown area of Bowling Green but is easy to find and has its own parking area. It is a large facility so privacy is available for meals with business partners or with a friend. I have eaten at the Brickyard twice and have had excellent food on both visits. The staff is well...
