We just moved to BG and wanted to try some local places so we came to trip advisor for some good suggestions. We went to this place because it was ranked number one. While the ingredients seem fresh the food was okay. I had the meatball special and the meatball seemed overcooked. Hard to cut into even though the flavor... More

We found this little gem while spending a layover night in Bowling Gren. What a wonderful surprise. All the food is fresh and homemade. The brick oven pizzas are some of the best I have ever had. Very busy, but our order was ready in under 10 minutes. Great local business. Stop in if yo have the chance. Everything looked delicious.

Ate here at lunch with family on the weekend - ordered turkey sandwich w/ homemade chips. My sister ordered a pizza...both were delicious. Its a little on the expensive side for a quick lunch but the food is outstanding. My sandwich, chips and drink were about $11. Nice atmosphere, very clean....would come back again!

We happened to be in town to tour the Corvette Museum and plant. We checked on TripAdvisor and found them #1. So we tried them. It was pizza special night and we found the food spectacular. As others have mentioned, the pizza is thin crust and the toppings are unique and all is delicious!

My family was in Bowling Green this past weekend for a baseball tournament and I read the good reviews about Home Cafe so we decided to stop for lunch. Fantastic food! We each had a different sandwich and we couldn't decide who had the better one! We also loved the fact they use local farmers for their meats and produce.... More

Wednesday is Burger Night. They change each week. We had the Andouille angus burgers and they were hand made and delicious. The beer selection was small but interesting and priced fairly. This place is not meant to compete with sit down fancy places but they do their thing well. You order at the counter and they bring your food to... More

Looks inviting, feels clean & homey. However I had a big breakfast, and was just starting to get hungry around 2pm..I ordered a bowl of blackeyed beans, onion, cornbread and unsweet tea. She didn't understand the unsweet tea.But everything was grown local, tasted great. Cheaper than McDonald's.

After eating at the tourist traps Mammoth Cave park in particular. I was left with a bleak expectation on local restaurants. Luckily we looked up Home Cafe saw the good ratings and gave it a try. Pizzas were on special. We had the chicken pesto and bacon, and buffalo chicken mac n cheese. The pizza crust was thin and alot... More
