Nice service and menu choices. We were given water and a bread basket to start. The bread was similar to focacia with a herbed butter that was good. My husband had the soup that I tasted and it was delicious. I had the shrimp salad where the shrimp were nicely cooked, the greens fresh and a lovely dressing that looked... More

After meeting the chef unexpectantly, I was impressed by his calm but confident demeanor. I was inquiring about getting a gluten free meal and found him very knowledgeable and accommodating. I had the Herb Java Fillet Tips Romaine Salad. Excellent! My husband had the Balsamic Raspberry Chicken, which he greatly enjoyed. Gourmet dining at great prices. I would definitely recommend... Went here for my daughters graduation. Service was very good. We had the fruits de mere which was the best dish. Crab cakes are very good. Shrimp and grits were average. The chocolate ribeye had great flavor but the steak itself was tough and not a good grade. We had cheesecake for dessert was excellent.

Walked to the door and thought about sitting outside, but table had yet to be cleaned off. So didn't bother. Waited in front of restaurant while server passed us repeatedly. No greeting. No one to greet us. I went to the bathroom. Management sitting in small office watching tv / monitors. I came back. Husband still standing at the front.... More

Just down the street from one of Bowling Green's more popular spots - 440 Main - is this little find. It is slightly more expensive than 440, but is quieter, more intimate, and it's smaller menu is still more than adequate. The staff is friendly and nice, but not in your face. The beef is always outstanding in my experience... More

Getting a salad is exactly what I wanted! The peta bread with hummis-like spread was an added bonus. My wife had a pastrami sandwich and tomato soup. Yum! Our waitress was a Western student and very polite, nice and always smiling!

We went to Bowling Green for a weekend trip in early September, 2013. It happened to be our anniversay the day we arrived, and we drove downtown looking for a nice restaurant to celebrate. We picked the Verdi and we were not disappointed. We didn't have any of the service issues mentioned in previous reviews. The food was excellent and... More

We felt invisible while 3 staff hustled by our table numerous times without even taking a drink order. The Balkan sausage appetizer was great. The Vienna schnitzel was a bit on the salty side; sauerkraut cool and tasted as if it came straight from a can; mashed potatoes were excellent.

We chose the convenience of the Verdi restaurant on the square in Bowling Green while waiting for our tour of the Corsair distillery. We were pleasantly surprised with the attentive hospitality and the menu which included some subtle variations on popular items. The light creamy chicken and shrimp curry included vegetables; my Philly wrap was in a red pepper "tortilla"... More
