This restaurant has the right location and exterior to be a Kentucky landmark, but instead, it was tired and needed a makeover. We stopped on a Sunday evening after a long I-75 drive. It has a rustic exterior with a nice front porch. The menu looked good. Perhaps Sunday night after six is not the time to go. They were... More

We eat at Dinner Bell regularly. Good old country cooking, great service. Slow service at times especially on Sundays after church but understandable when a good portion of locals come for a good country meal. Breakfast anytime! A big plus also. Can't go wrong eating here.

Traveling down I75, we go out of our way to eat at Dinner Bell. Its always worth the wait..and the drive. If you like Beans and Cornbread, then you will like Dinner Bell. They have other things also, but we always get the Beans and Cornbread..its the best. They also have quilts there, kinda like the famous chain restaurant, except... More

Several friends went to Berea for an over night and we had dinner and breakfast at the Dinner Bell, we could not have been happier. The owners were there both times and were such a delight. We could not have asked for better service and more delicous food, we over ate of course because everything was so good. We will... More

The food here is great. Everything tasted homemade. They even brought me out free samples of things to try so I didn't order something I didn't like. The staff were very nice. A very clean place to stop and eat right off I-75. There is also a store with candy and crafts attached to the restaurant.

We ate here as a recommendation of the visitor's center. While we got water and our orders taken promptly, our food did not come out until forty minutes later. I will say the food did come out hot. My husband said the catfish tasted "tired", like it was frozen. My fried okra was good, but the apples just so so... More

We stopped here on our vacation travels hoping for home cooking. After waiting 45 mins for food & refills the food was pretty good. However after 8pm they will not make more sweet tea, as it will waste before the next day. The owner was staining the wood right beside us as we tried to eat. We were all naucious... More

When travelling through KY on I-75 this is a great place to stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Get away from the fast food circuit and enjoy some real food for once.

I am from southern Indiana and this is the first place I have been to in years that offered everything from salmon and shrimp to fried bologna and grits. The food was amazing! The place looks dated and needs a make over but the food is worth stopping! The waitress we had was so friendly and came back often to... More

We are not a fan of cracker barrel but a Hugh fan of home cooked food. I had a grilled pork chop sandwich that had the best breading and thick not pounded to paper. For the price you couldn't ask for better food or service.
