If you have been looking for food like Mama cooked, this is where you want to go. It is good old fashioned cooking. A great place to go for lunch. They are always busy. There are lots of hand crafted items to look at and purchase also.

We ate here today for the first time and we were not pleased at all. The server while nice was extremely slow. They weren't busy either. The fried chicken was barely edible. The mashed potatoes were instant. The inside of the place just wasn't very clean. I walked in the bathroom and walked right back out. We were not happy... More

I eat here on a regular basis, because organizations use the facilities, I would not eat here is you have kids. There is no kids menu. Food is over priced and not really all that. Tables have that dirty feel, bathrooms have a sewer gas smell. Just not pleasant.

Hamburger was just a frozen patty. I thought their food would be more homemade. Even the pies where frozen. Service was friendly but slow. Over all just average

Apparently the owners have had the restaurant for many years. An older couple who wanted to serve the folks in the local area and just see all the neighbors. The food is average and the atmosphere is friendly and homey.

Husband and I stopped there after visiting the jewelry shops in Berea. We stopped based upon the Berea brochure that indicated this establishment has just like mom's meatloaf (my weakness). We arrived at a few minutes to noon-it was just starting to get busy. Upon entering the long but narrow establishment, we were greeted by a sign instructing us to... More

If you want food like mom used to make this is the place to come. It has a slow atmosphere where you can sit back and just relax. The food is good, not write home to tell everyone good but would stop by again good. It is an easy get in and out type place unlike the other side of... More

Nice little place with a small taste of good old fashioned Southern hospitality. Prices reasonable to the portions served. If you want to avoid the chain places while driving along I-75 through Berea, this would be a good place to stop at for a family meal, as it is next to the interstate at exit 76.

After a tiring and stressful day we were able to relax and enjoy good home style southern cooking at this restaurant. The staff was friendly and the food was well prepared, tasty and prompt. The choice of side dishes was large and varied and all of our choices were tasty. The prices are reasonable as well.
