The best!

I have eaten at Wanpen many times over the past year and I have never been disappointed. There's nothing fancy about the interior of the restaurant, however it is fixed up in Thai decor. I have gotten many different dishes but the curries are my favorite. Mrs. Wan Pen fixes everything herself and... read more

I live in town, and with only a few restaurants, have eaten here often. It's obviously not a chain - it's small, and owned and run by local residents. The decor is very kitchy, with buddha, little statues of dancing Thai princesses, and for some reason CDs hanging from the ceiling. But if you can past that, the service is prompt,... More

I enjoy the hot tea, and almost any dish they have, it is prepared fresh and the portions are quite generous

Don't expect a buffet like the younger crowd is used to, but expect one of the best dinners that you have had with Thai. Get the egg roll, its about as big as your wrist as well as the hotsour and egg drop soup. This last visit I had the General Tso's hot and it was grade A perfect! Not... More

My husband and I are big fans of this place. It has both Thai and Chinese foods. I believe the owner is Chinese, but is a certified Thai chef. Prices are very reasonable, and the portions are generous. I ordered Pad Thai with tofu. It came with soup, an egg roll, fried or steamed rice, and hot or iced tea.... More

Looking for a spot for a late lunch and decided on Wanpen. Two of us had soup. I had the Thai noodle soup Tom Yum and the someone had the Non-noodle version. Both were excellent and perfectly spiced. Usually I like to add condiments, but this hit the right level from the start. Two others had Pad Thai and a... More

The owner is wonderful and the food is just as great. I had the sesame chicken and it was very, very good. The owner checked on us throughout the meal and made us feel at home.

We stopped here for lunch while on a trip. They have a nice lunch special that includes soup and tea. I had the pad tai which was quite good. The booth we sat in had very worn seats and was pretty uncomfortable. The place is tiny and worn-down looking, but the food is good.

I've been a fan of Wanpen since she opened many years ago. Now that I live in another county I don't get her food as much as I would like. The atmosphere in the restaurant could be better, but the food is amazing! I get takeout frequently on my way home from the grocery store. I especially recommend the sesame... More
