I have stopped at this establishment before but it was very satisfying on my last visit. I had been driving all afternoon in chilly weather and under the weather with a head cold. My aches and pains were eased as I relaxed and ate a bowl of white chicken chili. Nice quiet restaurant with a large gift shop of Amish... More

We chose Main Street Cafe on the recommendation of the lady at the visitor's center and we were very pleased with the goat cheese burger. The fries were pretty good too and the service was perfectly adequate - refills when we needed them, plenty of ketchup, etc. I would say it's a good choice for a low key meal while... More

Because of my work schedule I am sometimes pressed for lunch. I have found that I am ending up here at Main Street Cafe and have become a loyal customer. For lunch I recommend the "You Pick Em'" or a choice between a cup or the day's soup, half of a sandwich and/or a small salad. Soups are great, especially... More

We enjoyed a tasty lunch at this cafe and received good service. Prices were reasonable and the place had a pleasant atmosphere. Would definitely return.

Stopped while on a road trip. This was much better than a Subway or Cracker Barrel stop, obviously! We had the option of eating healthy (salad) or unhealthy (the lovely desserts on display). Food was good, service was unobtrusive. We tried to eat outside but were swarmed by bees. Inside is a nice environment. Altogether a good cafe.

Entered the restaurant just a few minutes after 3:00 PM. They weren't super busy, yet several of the tables were dirty, that should have been our first clue. The one and only waiter took our drink order which took a while for the two ice teas to ever arrive. At this point it was apparent that he took everyone's drink... More

We were passing through this historic city with the objective of shopping for specific pottery items. We decided to stop at this restaurant due to a nice weather day and they had patio seating. Our waitress was busy, yet friendly and when we asked about the specials, she recommended the seafood bisque. We ordered the classic club wrap and the... More

While attending the Brushy Fork Institute, some friends and I met up for lunch at Main Street Cafe. It's the perfect lunch locale with a wide variety of dishes offered and appetizing healthy options. The atmosphere is decidedly Berean with a laid back, college town charm. The service was a little slow but the place was packed so it was... More

We had a long lunch here while staying in Berea. When we made plans for our trip, we did not know that the Celtic Fest was occurring. This place had live Celtic music on the back patioo from 12-6 on the day we were there. It was like a Celtic Jam Session, with a large number of musicians rotating through.... More

What a burger! Both of us got the Main Street Burger with bacon and cheese added and we were not disappointed. It was a huge burger with loads of fries while my husband got the same except with a load of onion rings. The prices were very reasonable and the service by the college students was great!
