Great food and staff, good selection, vegan options available. Just a few steps from the Boone Tavern hotel.

We were hoping to dine down the street but Boone Tavern was closed, the concierge encouraged us to head here. I had a good feeling until my soup showed up. The French onion was more like onion tea. Absolutely no seasoning and so watery. No traditional garnish (crusty bread & Gruyere/Swiss), just a couple saltines. I'm hopeful that it could... More

Decent food, slightly pricey and no real ambiance. The food is fine. There are better options. Boone Tavern is well priced for lunch. Try it. Dinner is alright, especially if staying within a budget.

I have stopped at this establishment before but it was very satisfying on my last visit. I had been driving all afternoon in chilly weather and under the weather with a head cold. My aches and pains were eased as I relaxed and ate a bowl of white chicken chili. Nice quiet restaurant with a large gift shop of Amish... More

We chose Main Street Cafe on the recommendation of the lady at the visitor's center and we were very pleased with the goat cheese burger. The fries were pretty good too and the service was perfectly adequate - refills when we needed them, plenty of ketchup, etc. I would say it's a good choice for a low key meal while... More

Because of my work schedule I am sometimes pressed for lunch. I have found that I am ending up here at Main Street Cafe and have become a loyal customer. For lunch I recommend the "You Pick Em'" or a choice between a cup or the day's soup, half of a sandwich and/or a small salad. Soups are great, especially... More

We enjoyed a tasty lunch at this cafe and received good service. Prices were reasonable and the place had a pleasant atmosphere. Would definitely return.

Stopped while on a road trip. This was much better than a Subway or Cracker Barrel stop, obviously! We had the option of eating healthy (salad) or unhealthy (the lovely desserts on display). Food was good, service was unobtrusive. We tried to eat outside but were swarmed by bees. Inside is a nice environment. Altogether a good cafe.

Entered the restaurant just a few minutes after 3:00 PM. They weren't super busy, yet several of the tables were dirty, that should have been our first clue. The one and only waiter took our drink order which took a while for the two ice teas to ever arrive. At this point it was apparent that he took everyone's drink... More
