Great place

Popped in for a quick lunch; wanted something light after a day on the Bourbon Trail and more planned. Opted for the Greek Salad and had grilled chicken added. Well-made. The server was extremely friendly; she had immigrated from Bosnia 20 years prior. Large restaurant - will be back.

This restaurant is actually in the old theatre and houses a nice size collection of art (very interesting story of how it got there, you should ask). The food is wonderful! Linen table clothes and glass but you are still comfortable in jeans. The Kreso's Chicken dish is to die for! OMG!

We were traveling on the Bourbon Trail and stopped off for lunch. It was a little after usual lunch hours so we were the only ones in the place. Service was quick and attentive, the food was good. I had a Reuben Sandwich which was good. Our party had a Chicken Sandwich, Greek Salad and Grilled Chicken Sandwich. The decor... More

Located in downtown however no parking problem. Was there for lunch the selection was small but good dinner menu however looked great. They have every bourbon ever made I believe including all four Pappy Van Winkle. The price is a slight bit high but service and food was very good.

Good food and good selections and presentations. Nicely decorated rooms with pleasant staff and music. I would recommend this restaurant to others visiting Bardstown.

We stopped here one evening for dinner. It wasn't crowded, a party of 8, a party of 3 but still had no one to greet us and seat us. Found out the girl who eventually seated us was also working as the server and bartender...she was basically by herself. She apologized right away and explained the situation. She did an... More

Kreso's Restaurant is very well located in downtown Bardstown, KY, a jumping-off point for Bourbon Trail travelers. Our server Crystal was outstanding, quick to solicit our dinner wishes and then fit them to the American-with-European-flourishes menu. The hearty dishes are crafted by an owner/chef who we perceived had escaped from the warfare spawned by the breakup of Yugoslavia. Pastas are... More

On our third trip to the Bourbon Trail, eight of us had dinner here one night. Everyone in the group absolutely loved their food. The service was impeccable. Our food servers were very attentive, without being overbearing. From the Bosnian Salads that we started with to the various Entrees - everything was cook to perfection. All of us would highly...
