I had a Ky Club Sandwich and found it to be exceptional. Was there mid afternoon and my friends and I the only patrons and waited far to long for our food, but as the food was wonderful, it was worth the wait. Will be a repeat customer.

We loved this bar so much last year when we stayed in town we made sure to return. Sadly our beloved bartender Jason from last year was not there. His recommendations for "beginner bourbons" helped expand my palate and he was quite entertaining as well. The bartender was nice that was there but was not a bourbon drinker and not... More

Having been here in the past this visit was very disappointing. Everyone has different tastes and the quality was a far cry from the past visits. Service was a bit slow and with only one waitress working the bar and dining room. She was pleasant to all the guests, but seamed overwhelmed. The main course was was good, but the... More

Just like another review, we arrived late in Bardstown and had a difficult time finding a place for dinner. I called around and when I spoke to the hostess at Kreso's she said they usually closed around 8:30 (it was 8:10 now) but if we came we would be served. Hopped in the car and arrived about 8:20. Staff was... More

Great menu, great service & well-prepared food. Fun place to eat as well. Despite arriving just before closing, we were treated like royalty.

We arrived later and this was really the only place in town still open. They did not seem put off we were coming in late and our meals and experience were perfect. Very tasty food with good flavor. We even stopped in the next day to try a round of bourbon and shared a tasty/different Reuben sandwich.

Don't let the white table cloth fool you! I will be straight to the point... 1) 2 tables came in after us and were watered and had their drinks before we were even greeted (they were obviously locals, but given that this is a tourist town and awarded "most beautiful small town" and "bourbon capital of the world", I would... The first thing that hits you when you walk into Kreso's is the impressive bar selection. Even more impressive, is the fact that our waiter, Jason, could maintain a mental inventory of such a wide array, particularly of the bourbons, which Bardstown is well-known for. On that note, the service was amazing. He made stellar recommendations and was more than... More

We had a hard time finding this as the sign outside was hard to read. They should display the name with pride as they have a really nice restaurant. The service was wonderful. They have an amazing selection of Bourbon and are happy to help you find the perfect one for you. They also had a full bar, wine and... More

The Kresco family arrived in Bardstown, hosted by the local Episcopal church. After a career as a professional soccer player, the opened a restaurant in their Bosnian home town but were forced to flee during the war 20 years ago…The family continued their tradition of excellent food and now operate their restaurant across from the church that sponsored them here....
