Great steak

I ate dinner here as a part of a conference. I had a sirloin steak and potatoes. The steak was delicious and perfectly done. The service was good. Had a drink at the bar too. Nice wide selection of bourbons available.

Crystal at Kreso's was wonderful! She recommended the Crustless Chicken stuffed with spinach for me, when my husband & I were both going to order the Yeager Snitzel. Both had fabulous flavor & generous portions. All reasonably priced too! I just wish they were closer to our home! We will definitely visit Kreso's in Bardstown again!

We decided to have dinner at this restaurant and on arrival there were dirty glasses on the bar and the tables hadn't been cleaned from lunch. I went to the female toilet and it was dirty and my husband went to the gents toilets and it was blocked ...... neither of us said anything to each other so we then... More

The bourbon selection at Kreso's is simply incredible. Truthfully, in bourbon country we had expected to have a lot of choices but their selections were beyond great. We had many different rare choices, and by sharing each among the entire table we were able to expand our tastings. We also enjoyed the chicken marsala entrée. The trout with cheese and... More

This is perfect for a quiet date night. Our food was really good, and the dessert was all homemade and also excellent. Our server was so friendly, and gave us some cool history about the owners and the building.

We stopped in Kresco's for lunch around 1:30 between distillery visits. We were the only people in there (which always makes me a little leary). I told the waitress/hostess/bartender what type of drink I was looking for and she made a couple suggestions. What I ordered was NOT what I got. I really don't think she knew anything about mixing... Called ahead to make a lunch reservation for 14 in between distillery tours. Table was set, but service was very nice, but extremely slow and food was mediocre. House salad was enjoyed by most, but entrees took a long time and some not worth eating (do not get the tomato basil soup!). We turned it into a fun adventure, but... More

Stayed in Bardstown on Monday, January 19. Seemed as though all the restaurants in town were closed except Kreso's. Boy were we lucky to eat at this restaurant. Shnitzle's were great. Collection of Bourbon's fantastic. The owner was lovely. The restaurant atmosphere was charming. One of the best nights we had in our week in Kentucky, that coming from a... More

We really wanted to enjoy our dinner but the food was poor. Ordered crab cakes that were so-so but for $10: NO. same with Bosnian salad--thin ribbons of lettuce were difficult to eat with for. Dressing was lackluster and feta was supermarket quality. waste of $7. Jaeger scnhnitzel was so below standard...tasted like bacon fat--not like Ky ham which was... More
