We got there just before they stopped serving due to some unexpected snow. They were very welcoming to us and provided great care and attention all throughout our dinner. They food was top quality and flavors just amazing! We hit the bar afterwards to listen to a band. Can't wait to go back.

We were a large group of about 10 who decided to eat dinner there. We made reservations for 7pm. Service was very slow. Our waitress said she was overbooked with tables, but there was only about 5 tables in the main room, and 2 other waitresses. They sat us in another room by ourselves. Every one was pretty happy with... More

Very good experience for lunch snack and dinner in this historic building. Be sure to wear a jacket or sweater as it is cold in the main dining room, but you warm up with the good food. Great bourbon drink choices.

History and ghost buffs would like this place! Wanted to see the room where Jessie James bullet holes could be found, but still in renovation from the fire of many years ago. Food was good but not exceptional. Prices reasonable.

higher anticipation that we should have had maybe. It is no longer and older person quiet bourbon bar. It is now a rock n roll eclectic music and plan old bar. I give it 3 stars for its wide selection of bourbon not seen in most bars. We were here only for couple hours on New Years eve night.

The Burgoo was amazing, the Tavern is fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed the Talbott pie and bourbon bread pudding. The music below the Anton Heinrich room was great. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Ordered a flight of bourbon, the bartender was very helpful in helping me select a few that I'd like. The music on Friday night was great, played fantastic older country and western. Fantastic atmosphere in a historic location.

There was nothing I disliked. I had the special, chicken pot pie. It came with green beans. They were seasoned and they were italian beans. They were fabulous. The chicken pot pie was just the thing for a damp cold day. I shared the bread pudding with bourbon sauce. You could really taste the bourbon. I enjoyed the setting; an... More

Lovely setting and very good food! Especially enjoyed the Burgoo (a veggie soup) - awesome! We enjoyed great comfort food - fried chicken, bourbon ribs - great service, too. Afterwards, went into the bar for live music - really fun,

The dining room at the Old Talbott Inn featured a number of gourmet prepared meals. The Bourgoo (a featured soup) was unbelievable. I had a salad that featured locally grown greens and vegetables. My wife had the prime rib which was cooked to perfection.
