over priced and under staffed.

Me and my wife went there last weekend and it wasn't that busy but it took way too long to get waited on and too long for the food to come out. The salad was fresh and the food was OK. don't think i'll be back.

Attentive wait staff providing good service. He gave us some history facts about the tavern. Good selection of foods and we shared desert. We enjoyed our dinner and our night out.

Had country ham. It was about 1/8 inch thick and not at all what I would call "country ham." Very very ordinary and tough. Had the burgoo soup before and it was very good. Rounding out the meal was green beans and mashed potatoes which were, you know, green beans and mashed potatoes. The waiter was very pleasant, the experience... More

My party and I dined on catfish, ribs and chicken. Each was wonderful and service was excellent. Our second visit, but definitely not the last.

We stop in for Lunch, I got pork sandwich, it comes with home made chips they are great. My husband got soup and he enjoyed it. The food is tasty and the services is good. Prices range from $8.00 and up for sandwiches 15 - $20. for full Dinner meals. Everything we tried was good, would eat there again. It... More

I sent my food back because it wasn't done and by the time server brought it back my husband had finished his meal This time it was done but was not good at all. My husband said... More

I honestly picked this restaurant for a pre-show Dinner out of convenience and over objections. It's only a few hundred yards from the park entrance to the Stephen Foster Story and we only had a couple hours before the performance we would be attending in an otherwise unfamiliar town. We read the reviews and I saw a pattern. Expect Michelin... More

Loved this little place. Reasonable prices and my sandwich was so good! It was the perfect amount of food for lunch on a hot day!

The structure (built 18th Century) is worth the experience. The service was good; though not on a crowded night. The food was so/so. I would give it another try after trying some other venues.

First of all, our server was very attentive and he liked bourbon. I tried something unique from the area. I, well, I didn't like it. It was bland. I tried something different and didn't like it. I don't know how to handle such situations; I ordered it; it came and I didn't like it; my fault. The portion was small... More
