We missed the noon train as Bradstown is located in the Eastern Time Zone. We came in from the central time zone. If appropriate, please be sure to take this into consideration. The individual at the office graciously moved us to the train with the 5pm departure. Prior to the train leaving we enjoyed sitting in the station which has... More

We had a great time on the dinner train. It isn't cheap but you are not just paying for dinner. They are running a train. I thought it was a good value for everything and recommend it to anyone. Our food was good and well presented. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a good experience.

No, this isn't going to be a good review. I think the only reason anyone should take this "dinner train" is for the experience of dining on a train. Truth-be-told, my prime rib was actually pretty good but was accompanied by a small undersized baked potato. The salad dressing clung to the small plastic cups and was generally not very... More

First let me say I am from Kentucky and love my state. We have been twice in the last year to the Dinner Train. The dining car itself is very nice but the food is over priced (included in ticket to ride) and over rated. Disappointed in the salad and entree as they tried to add color with canned beets!... More

We booked this dinner trip after hearing so many positive word of mouth reports from friends & co-workers. A quick shot down from Louisville, KY took us about 30-40 minutes. Went the 1st weekend in October. Great weather - waiting 1 or 2 more weekends would have been perfect for leaf peeping. There's a cocktail bar inside for service prior... More

We decided to take the lunch tour due to the night trips being booked. It was a good choice. A very nice ride on a refurbished historical dining car. The food, tour and service made for a great experience.

I liked the gentle rock of the moving train, the elegance of the dinnerware and table setting, and the attention that our waiter gave us.

Nice 2 1/2 hour trip thru neighborhoods and wooded areas. The food was very good. There were only two in our party and the table sit four, so unless you pay extra to have a table to yourself, like we did, you will sit with other people. table are very close together, so you are back to back with the...
