My husband and I went on the dinner train for our anniversary. We had been before with family and loved it, so we thought we would go again. We made our reservation about 2 weeks before our trip. At the time of the reservation, you pick what entree and salad that you would like to eat that night, as well... More

I enjoyed the ride as well as the atmosphere. It had just snowed and it couldn't have been prettier and very Christmassy

I went with a group of 30 senior adults. We all had a very nice time. We went on the Lunch train. A three course meal, with several choices. The food was delicious. The ride was enjoyable. The only problem that was experienced, was that one table had ordered ice cream with their cobbler, and the waitress put it on... More

I went on this ride with co workers. The train was very clean the staff were proffesional and gave us excellent service. The food was very good I had the roast beef others with my party had other selections off the menu and all agreed the food was good. They have a little bar in the waiting area were you... More

We took our son, daughter-in-law and three grandchildren on the Polar Express at Christmas. We had preorder our lunch from a set menu. The food was good but the grandchildren were too excited to eat. I was able to get a vegetarian meal. Santa and Mrs. Clause came through handing out candy canes and bells. The tickets were expensive but... More

We had a group of about 40. This was a lunch trip. The lunch offered two Salads those that picked the Golden were more pleased then the ones that picked the Caesar. The golden was small for what should have been offered. The Entrees, three were chosen the Kentucky Hot brown did not get a good review from any that... More

We traveled on the train with a friend. My wife's and my food were of very poor quality. Her Hot Brown was greasy and my Rib Eye wasn't. It seemed to be off the round and very tough. We both got sick and I still have re-occurring systems. On top of that we dress appropriately only to find dozens wearing... More

The train's interior and table setting was what you would hope for a dinner at this price. The service was remarkable for a moving diner. The food was excellent as attested by everyone.

This was our third trip to Bardstown to ride the dinner train. Absolutely loved it. The experience, the food and the service was equlat to the high standard they set on our very first visit. The Memu offerings are great, but I can't get away form the prime rib. It is the best I have ecver eaten.

We missed the noon train as Bradstown is located in the Eastern Time Zone. We came in from the central time zone. If appropriate, please be sure to take this into consideration. The individual at the office graciously moved us to the train with the 5pm departure. Prior to the train leaving we enjoyed sitting in the station which has... More
