Dinner train trip

We decided to explore the good things close to home. We and another couple had reservations for a dinner trip. Although you only had a choice of 2 entrees the food was very good and so was the service. We also enjoyed the beautiful view when we went through the Bernheim Forest area. We plan to... read more

After having reservations for six months they called us two weeks before our trip and canceled very disappointing after waiting six months to enjoy this. How can you cancel on the 4th!

We went on this dinner train ride with another couple and we all thoroughly enjoyed it; It was like reliving the past. The first thing we noticed was the friendliness of the staff. The table setting was beautiful and the appetizers (included with the meal) were on the table for everyone: crackers with cheese, a special pimento spread and green... More

My husband and I chose the dinner Train for our 39th wedding Anniversary. We did the one with the show, "Death at the Alter." The show wasn't much, a little funny, but not worth the extra $25. dollars per. person that it cost. The food was wonderful we both got prime rib and was very pleased with it. If they... More

The food was excellent, can't beat their prime rib . The service was great! Only complaint depending on where you're sitting is the amount of time it takes to get your meal!

My husband and I chose the Dinner Train as a quick get-away to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary. We were pleased with the setting and the ride through the countryside was nice. The food was so-so; definitely not what one would expect when paying over 80.00 per person. I became sick before leaving the train and was sick the rest... More

This lovely little train is a great way to spend an afternoon and early evening. The trip does not actually go many miles, but it is well done and provides you with just enough information, history, entertainment, etc., to keep you engaged between meal courses. The food was really very good, and well presented. The train itself is beautifully appointed... More

A trip through the rolling hills of Kentucky in an elegantly restored 1940's Dining Car. Where a wonderful meal that you have chosen is prepared and served. We choose Prime Rib and it was perfectly prepared and simply wonderful as was the remainder of the meal including a wonderful desert. It's not cheep but is in my opinion worth the... More

We went on the dinner train in the magic act with our 3 children for our 15 th anniversary. The magician kept our older kids entertained, and we really enjoyed the train trip and the food. It was expensive to take 5 people and we had also ordered all the appetizers and the flowes and cake. I probably won't get... More

Rode this dinner train in April 2012 on an anniversary trip with my husband. We did the dinner and show and the food was amazing but I hated the show I thought it was just plain tacky. You'll have to see for yourself and decide but I hated the show. Great food though and you can just do the ride... More
