Such a nice atmosphere that the very good food becomes even better. Down home food. High quality. Great service; beautiful building.

My friends and I were there in mid afternoon. Service was very slow, even though we were the only guests. The food was excellent and good portions..I would highly recommend this place but be prepared to wait for your food. The staff was very friendly.

This restaurant is within walking distance of the Beautiful Dreamer B&B. Great "home cooking" restaurant.

Good food in a cozy environment across the street from a nice park. Waitress was like a friend with a fun personality.

We were greeted by the owner and had a lovely dinner with the home cooked comfort food. The service was excellent, the menu was very diverse. I had the stuffed peppers and my wife had the fried chicken livers (we've never seen this on a menu before. The decor was delightful.

A family owned and operated restaurant-- it's a great place for comfort food and closely the both the downtown Bardstown area and Stephen Foster park, which is has "My Old Kentucky Home". We were told about the restaurant by local business owners while in town for the Bourbon Festival. It was certainly worth the visit.

A group of five couples from our neighborhood took another Bourbon Trail Trip together for the second year. Between our Maker's Mark and Jim Beam tours, we stopped at Kurtz for lunch. Several enjoyed the lunch specials or different sandwiches. Everyone was pleased with everything. Our waitress was very accommodating - even taking a group photo for us. It was... More
