Went there on a Tuesday night, and had great food and service. Meet a local couple and talked for a couple of hours sharing stories. Great bartender (Timothy), and waitress (Jordan). The owner was very pleasant to talk with. This is my second time here, and I will be returning again! Thanks to everyone at The Rick house Restaurant!

I was in historic section of Bardstown as part of Bourbon Trail tour. Me and buddy were looking for place to eat after 8 pm on a Wednesday. Several people said Rickhouse might be the best choice. It does take some effort to find it but worth the trip. The staff was attentive but then there were only 2 other... More

This was really a fun place to eat. The menu is quite good. Two of us had the barbecue chicken and they loved it, especially moist and tender. One of us had the salmon and the bourbon sauce was outstanding. I had a filet and it was flavorful and cooked as ordered. The sides are really good. We had the... More

We were driving through Bardstown enroute to horse cave, Kentucky. Found this restaurant on trip advisor. I do have to agree that the establishment is not well marked and would be a challenge to find especially when located in the basement of a big building. When arriving by car, looking for parking in city hall and look toward the museum... More

Great steaks----more than I could handle and price very reasonable for the traveller on the Bourbon Trail. It did take a bit of searching to find it (behind a church, and down the stairs) but worth it. Nice wine selections, and a variety of options on the Menu. No open until Tuesday-Saturday.

Tough to find. Bardstown does not allow a lot of signage in the Historic distric, but it is worth the search. Food was excellent...service was as good. Try the grilled salad! Steak was great and all sides as well. You will not leave hungry.

We enjoyed a very good dinner at the bar. Bartender was very entertaining. The bourbon flight selection was outstanding.

I ate here with my boyfriend on a Saturday night while in the area for the Bourbon Trail. I have very mixed thoughts on the restaurant because some aspects were very good, and some were poor. I would like to try it again and see if our service experience was an exception, not the standard. The good. My food was... More

Upon arrival we were greeted promptly and courteously. The hostess asked if we had reservations and we said we didn't and we told her that we thought we might like to eat in the bar area but we weren't sure. The layout doesn't allow you to see the dining areas or the bar very well so we weren't sure which... More
