good meal on a cold day

Stopped into Pat's Place for lunch/dinner on a chilly day after doing a couple of stops on the Bourbon Trail. Service was quick and friendly, and the double bacon cheeseburger was fantastic. You can also get macaroni and cheese for a side, so it was great since it was pretty cold outside. I... read more

Small town local cafe with good service. Sandwiches, burgers and plate lunches. We loved we we ordered but felt like they were stingy with the sides. I got the fried chicken plate which was good but again felt liked the sides were small. Wedges on the side you got about 5 so my husband was looking for more to eat. We... More

I had the special burger medium rare 3 days ago. I noticed the bun was really cold like it just came out of the fridge. The burger was just lukewarm. It tasted good so I didn't send it back. Bad mistake - shortly after I had cold sweats, nauseous, a fever and have been running for bathroom ever since. I... More

For my first time in Bardstown, for lunch we wanted to check out a local eatery, and Pat's Place claim of "best burgers in town" caught my eye. It's a small diner, very clean, with super friendly, helpful staff. I had Pat's Burger and a cup of the soup of the day, vegetable beef. The food came in a timely... More

Great little restaurant without the big city frills. Fast friendly service, and delicious food. You'll feel like you're sitting down to have a meal at home, no rush, no fuss.

We happened upon this place while looking for an alternative place to eat for lunch. The place we wanted to go to was closed. Figured we couldn't go wrong with "The Best Burgers In Town". It was fairly late in the day for lunch -2ish but the place was packed which was a good sign. Found a table and had... More

While visiting Bardstown, we ate lunch at Pat's Place and enjoyed our meal. The service was good and the waitress was very nice and helpful. They have good burgers and sandwiches. A lot of locals eat here so it must be good on a consistent basis.

Pat's place is a refreshing change, for a nice, delicious lunch. The people are friendly, and the restaurant is clean. The service may be a little slow, but worth the wait.
