First Meal in Bardstown.

Our first meal in Bardstown was dinner at Mammy's Kitchen. Good drink specials and the food was quite tasty. We would recommend this restaurant while in Bardstown.

We ate at Mammy's for dinner on a recent trip to Bardstown. We did have to wait a few minutes for seating, but they Gave us menus while we waited so we would be able to order as soon as we were seated. The food was very fresh and delicious. We would eat there again!

We were doing some bourbon trail touring. We were looking for a quick bite to eat and chose Mammy's Kitchens because it was the first place we saw. We're glad we did! I had the Judges Club which was excellent! Why don't other places make a grilled club like this? The French Fries were good too. My wife had a... More

I had the Saturday special of roast beef, mashed potatoes and green beans. The pot roast was delicious as were the beans. The mashed potatoes did not taste home made. They were a watery taste to them, like out of the box. Everything else was fantastic. Save room for some pie, it just doesn't get any better. Service was ideal... More

Had dinner take out, and was unimpressed. The food lacked anything special. It was edible. I waited for a very long time for food. Service was ok. I won't go back.

The wait staff at Mammy's were friendly and attentive. Being from PA, we enjoyed all the y'alls being tossed around! Nothing fancy, just good food at reasonable prices. Don't miss their homemade fries!

This has been our go to place for meals while in Bardstown, we normally go about every 3 months to visit. Each of the last 2 visits the food was worse each time Long wait for food, then cold when it arrived......Waitress had several tables and was extremely busy, as all tables were full. So miss the old Mammy's the... More

On the main drag....parking is iffy. Walking in is like.....oh, oh, what kind of place is this? Relax.. Go with the flow. Wait staff is good and friendly. The food is excellent....don't plan on eating lunch.

We went because it had great reviews-we were not impressed. This is not what I consider home cooking-and we're from KY. Much of what we had was tasteless. Mashed potatoes were stiff & cold and the Beans weren't seasoned. Next time we'll just do dessert & coffee...the pie was great!

If you're looking for a good home cooked meal where the "locals" go, this is your place! The food is good, the company great and the desserts delicious! You might want to make reservations if you're going Friday or Saturday night as the place fills up quick.
