Oh Mammy's

Nice little country restaurant we were recommend to by the people at the Willett distillery. Good food at a fair price and my daughter in law loved the chocolate martini and butterscotch pie.

Visited with my husband on a weekend trip to Bardstown. We had the green fried tomatoes first which were very good. I had the chicken salad sandwich & tots and my husband had a grilled chicken sandwich & fries. My sandwich was terrific, had a sweet taste. My husband said the fries were rather greasy. Service was really fast and... More

Had breakfast on a Saturday about 10AM. They were busy, but not near full. We're promptly seated, but had to wait a long time to get our order, and a wait for the food. On the upside, the food was hot, and very good. Also took awhile to get our check. If they could step up the service, I would... More

The weather was nice so my wife and I spent the day touring Bardstown. Based on recommendations from some of the locals and the Tripadvisor reviews, we tried Mammy's Kitchen. The place was packed for lunch but our wait was only a few minutes. Our service was fantastic. The menu is your classic country cooking and all the food we... More

On the last night of our stay Mammys was recommended to us. Took us a few minutes to be seated. We got seated an got our drinks then we're informed they would not be serving dinner items. So our nice last night ended up hamburgers and hotdogs and burnt tater tots. We were not impressed.

Great food, friendly owners and staff! We are from Savannah and here in Bardstown for the bourbon tours but the snow arrived so we found Mammy's open and they were so friendly we hung out all day. We were tired of watching tv so we ventured out in the snow. Glad we did.

I visited Mammy's with a group of 22 other guests on a bourbon trail tour. Many of us ordered the ribeye which they put in between two buns....we found it odd, but it turned out to be an average steak- not too bad. The drinks were reasonably priced, and their service was incredible considering we had so many guests. They... More

After a night of visiting the Maker's Mark Distillery, we were starving and have always wanted to go to Mammy's when we are in town for the Bourbon Festival, but it is always packed during the festival and the wait is long. So, we took the chance of going on a non festival Saturday night and it was AMAZING!!! The... More
