Description: Across the ocean is a continent called Europe, where food is embraced as an art form. Why should they have all the fun? Walk into the most beautiful restaurant you have ever seen. With limestone walls, mosaic tile floor and a soft glow from the hand carved sconces set the tone for a wonderful afternoon or evening. Come in and sample some of our hand tossed pizzas cooked in our brick wood fired oven, or perhaps one of our fresh made pastas where the ingredients don't come together until you order it. Our outstanding wine list, with wines from around the world, combined with our delicious entrees and staff that doesn't know how to say "no", give you a perfect dining experience. We will see you soon at Yia Yia's.

We had a luncheon here after a funeral and they were able to accommodate a large group. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. I don't think you'll be disappointed. :)

I used to eat at Yia Yias once or twice a week but then we moved out of town. When I return I always make it a point to stop in. Apparently this Yia Yias has been sold and is no longer part of the previous group of Yia Yias but the food, service and ambiance are still excellent! The... More

We had dinner with some good friends last night. The guys we had the ribeye steak, we both were impressed with the flavor, at the end of the meal we realized that neither of us asked for A1 or 57 sauce. it was just absolutely perfectely grilled and full of flavor. I personnaly enjoyed the crispy potatoes that came with... More

Yia-Yia's has long been a Wichita favorite for Mediterranian style cuisine, great atmosphere, and consistently good service. It is a classy place. We dined here the first week that they were open (many years ago), and over the years have never had a bad experience. We eagerly go back. We like the quiet and privacy of the booths in the... More

From the moment we walked in there was an attention to detail. Our waiter made recommendations and when he learned we were vegetarian he checked to see what fresh veggies they had and then ... Based on our likes he built a customized meal for us. He was very attentive to our dining needs and ensured we enjoyed not only... More

Food was inconsistent. Started with the salt pork, two of the pieces had no meat, only fat. The shrimp scampini was pretty good. Although my server was very attentive, but the food was incredibly slow due to a corporate dinner. My dessert was comped. Chocolate cake was good.

We had Sunday brunch at Yia-Yia's and found it excellent. Food was well prepared and the selection included traditional choices such as Eggs Benedict as well as some interesting cheeses, sausages and other non-traditional choices.

We visited this place on Sunday at about 11 having made a reservation the previous night. There were two people at the reception, one of them showed us to the table. But they didn't care to show us around what is where, etc. Not that we expected someone to read out the name of each dish, but just an overview... More

Today's dining experience was downright bad. We ordered the house soup, a portobella wrap, and a turkey sandwich, The wrap's content was sopping wet and dripped heavily on the plate. Too much vinegar made the thing almost uneatable. The turkey in the sandwich was pressed meat which is not what we have had in the past. Yes, actual sliced turkey... More

Yia Yia's is one of my favorite places to eat in this city. I like it because there is always some taste or entrée that is unexpectedly wonderful. The ambience is relaxing, but vibrant. It is always quiet enough to enjoy a conversation, but there is also a feeling of energy. I love their humuus, their gnocchi, scallops. They have... More
