I don't know how I've lived in Wichita and six years and haven't made it to this place. It's a little under the radar I guess and boy I've been missing out. Shared a basket of fries (which was HUGE) and a delicious cheeseburger. If you're a big eater I'd double-up on the meat since the patties are thin. The... More

This was the most amazing burger I have ever eaten! Jalapeño cheese burger with onions and peppers grilled..... I was here on business and teammates took me here on Thursday. It was so good I came back Friday for another one. Fries are good too. The burgers are extra thin...almost like lace....I ate it with a fork. Get there early... More

The menu is limited, but it's a good stop for lunch. The portions on fries and onion rings are quite generous so you might be able to split one order between two people. I ordered a reuben sandwich, and regretted getting the small-slice rye bread which made the sandwich smaller than I'd have liked. The philly was good, but nothing... More

For years I've been watching "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" on the Food Network channel. As Guy Fieri tours one awesome hole-in-the-wall after another, I keep saying to myself (and my wife) WHERE is our local amazing place? I finally found it. We went to Ty's for the 2nd time in a month after a friend recomended it. Only open Tuesday... More

Great burgers, although you will smell like this greasy spoon for the rest of the day! The fries were great and the ambience is truly that of an old midwest diner.

I will start by saying that I resort to TA when traveling through or visiting new cities and the reviews are usually pretty accurate. One would think with all the rave reviews this place would offer a pretty good burger right? Sadly not the case. First, this place is a little ran down and in need of new booths. The... More

WOW!! This is absolutely the best original burger Wichita has to offer. A great greasy burger with the best fries I have eaten. Thick cut jumbo fries. So big you can share an order. They have several sandwiches on the menu... but you'd be crazee to have anything but the burger...make mine a double! YUM YUM GOOD. Great service and... More

When you have to have a real WICHITA burger, Ty's Diner is the place. This place is a landmark! Ty's opened in the 1950's and keeps getting better with age ( some say it's the grill). The owners here love what they do and it shows ( they own the place). The customers here love the food and it shows... More

I've been dining @ Ty's through the years~lot's of good memories' w/ special occasion's celebrated there. Though I don't live as close as I use to it's still one of my favorite stops when I'm in the area~I make it a must to make sure I get there.
