Just great food done right. Brisket was cooked right and just fell apart and ribs were great. Great sauce.
This BBQ was wonderful. We were able to smell the meat a block away. I had brisket and turkey, my husband had turkey and hot links. The brisket was moist, tender and had great flavor. The same for the turkey. The Hot Links were not that hot, but were very flavorable. The corn on the cob was tasty and there... More
Wichita is a blue-collar town full of great blue-collar restaurants like this and Bomber Burger. Pulled pork is best I've had in a long time: neither overcooked nor drowned in sauce. They let you decide how much (not that) hot or mild sauce you want. Great beans and corn on the cob, too.

Plenty of seating inside, but beware of the limited parking. They are in the entire building so it is not... More

Get a slab of ribs, meat(s) of your choice (by the pound) any of the sides and call an ambulance or taxi because you will think you have died and gone to heaven and certainly can't drive home anytime soon. I have had BBQ (See Title) - once you've had PIPO you will regret going anywhere else.
Phenomenal food. Absolutely worth seeking it out. I'm from Texas and was skeptical that a Wicita restaurant could beat out the Texas favorites. It did. Hands down.
We were in town and had a taste for barbeque. We found this quaint little place and pulled in only to find out they had closed 15 minutes prior. While we were sitting in the parking lot with our other party trying to figure out where we'd like to go, a man came out of the restaurant. He said it... More
