I use to love eating here over the years but it has gone downhill quickly. My enchiladas were cold on a hot plate. I had to request my sides that it said came with it. I had to almost fill my own water it took so long to get any. I will never go back here.

This past week we visited Red Beans for probably our 4th visit over the years. We would not go there if it weren't for the coupon we had for $10 off of our meal. We have also had coupons in the past. We hoped this time it would be better. The restaurant is a little shopworn and dusty. I don't... More

Dined at a lot of Cajun restaurants. This ones not at the top of list. Wasn't very spicy. Going to try something different on next visit.

We made reservations for a large group but the group before us wasn't leaving so they put us in an unheated side room. Not as comfortable as we would have liked but the guy did his best to accommodate. He brought in an extra little table so that at least all of the adults were able to sit together. Our... More

I was expecting some good Cajun seafood here. I ordered gumbo and fried catfish but it was far from my expectations. Restaurant is quite rundown.... it is ready for some maintenance.

The ambiance of this restaurant is truly Cajun. It's one of very few Cajun type restaurants in Wichita. Service is very good. Some of the music can become a little annoying after awhile. The menu has a good variety of Cajun food as well as some standard American; This restaurant also serves traditional and Cajun breakfast every morning at 7... More

Very good Cajun food - for Kansas. Whenever I get to Wichita )once a year) this is a have to stop for lunch or dinner. I have been going for the last 5 years but never thought to review. Done with the right amount of heat - doesn't burn your taste buds off. Always consistent and I can't wait to... More

Great place for breakfast. They can normally get you seated quickly and the food and service are very good. Most people think of a Cajun place for dinner, but give their breakfasts a try. Don't think you will be disappointed.

We started with the Sweet Corn Fritters and a side of ranch dressing. My friend and I both had the chicken salad on wheat toast with a side of Gumbo. Enough sandwich to bring back to my husband for his lunch. I would recommend all of that! Will have to do the Red Beans and Rice next visit.

Being from south Louisiana, I'm picky about "cajun" food. This place is cajun-like and good for tourists. The owner is very nice though and sat and talked with us for 30 minutes. He also owns Blue Moon Catering, which is highly recommended.
