We stopped for a late breakfast and chanced by this diner. Just like stepping back to the late 50's. It was clean the service was friendly and well staffed. Our eggs were a bit over cooked however, everything else was very good. We would stop again

You do get an 8 ounce burger, but the flavor is not up to snuff. It's kind of bland and a bit overcooked (even in these days of cooking burgers to death to ensure "safety"). The price was several dollars more than it was worth. I would rather have 4 ounces of beef cooked so that it still has taste.... More

It appears that no one there has smiled for years. Foods ok but the service us surly at best. Probably will not try again after this this third time.

Well the food lacked seasoning for sure, my daughter had the grilled chicken sandwich, and I had the philly cheese steak. Both were very bland. The lettuce was so big in the salad needed to be smaller to be more appealing, my husband got a big salad it had a lot of water left on plate when he finished eating.... More

Penny's Diner has a great atmosphere and delicious food. It has a 50's look to it with black & white checkered flooring. The food is cooked on a flat grill so its not for the diet conscious but it is very good. Service is fast and you can watch the cook while he prepares the food.

This place is awesome! The food is hot and delicious ( I had a burger with fried egg, cheese and fried onions). Also, the people who work here are soo nice! I was also able to sample the pulled pork and it was so awesome, but I ordered the burger already. Thank you everyone at Penny's Diner for an awesome... More

Penny's Diner is a good place for breakfast in the Wellington area, and the food in general is good. You are rather limited as to choices in Wellington, and Penny's is one of the better places if you don't want fast-food.

It has good home cooked food. We were there when it first opened and they had some problems. It is better now. It is nice for the railroad workers because it is directly across from the motel and is opened all the time.

We stopped in at Penny's Diner on our way back home to Texas. I just happened to see the state sign on the side of the road. We had the Hearty Breakfast and it was FABULOUS!!! The pancakes are so light and fluffy. The hash browns were the best I have ever had. Golden crispy on the outside and so... More

Food good...like most diners. Their hamburgers are all 1/2 pound Black Angus. Lots of those guys on the prairies around here so I assumed the beef was local. Fries nice & crispy. The best part was the attitudes of the cooks & waiters. Wanting to please in every possible way & smiling & laughing all the while! One waitress even... More
