These are tiny burgers with onions from a recipe 92 years old. The "ambiance" has to be seen and appreciated. Go ahead and plan on sitting at the counter. I chose to double up the burgers and had two which was enough for me. Tasty! Go for the experience.

This tiny little diner is world famous. People come from all over to sit at the counter and watch the show. We live in Oregon and make it a point to stop in for lunch at this Salina legend every time we pass through. The tiny little burgers are really great but the main attraction from our point of view... The only down side to the best burgers in the area is that your clothes will absorb the onion odor while you sit at the counter. Be prepared for strange looks from friends and acquaintances after a trip to "The Cozy."

These little burgers are commonly now called sliders, but this place has been making them for almost 100 years. Rather than using the onions as a topping, the burgers are cooked in the well browned onions 'smash' style, where the onions become part of the burger. We stopped on our drive back to the East Coast from Denver - I'm... More

After working for a friend mine for an afternoon, he took me to this place for lunch. As we pulled into the parking lot the aroma of the tiny little burger shack hit me hard. We ordered a sack of burgers each and ate in the parking lot. I wanted to bring home a sack and my buddy said I'd... More

We were mindlessly cruising East on I 70 recently when my wife felt the need of something to eat. Since this is 2014, rather than just pulling off and hitting the nearest boring chain place, she looked up TripAdvisor's recommendations for restaurants. Boy, we're glad we did. Near the top of the list was The Cozy Inn and we loved... More

Easy to find in downtown Salina, just follow the enticing smell of cooking burgers. Come hungry, buy a stack and enjoy! The burgers are small patties fried with a layer of chopped onions. Buns are warmed on the griddle and your Cozy Burgers are delivered in a basket of eating in at the 6 stool bar or you can take... More

Cant go wrong with Cozy Inn. The sliders are great and it is well worth it to go inside and take in the feel of the old place which still cooks everything on the original flat top.

This tiny little joint makes every top hamburger list in the country. I think they may have invented the slider. Small burgers grilled with chopped onions and sold by the bag. Wish I had a bag right now.

This is your old time Hamburger Diner. It opened in 1922. My parents dated here in 1941 and I came as a kid. Very small with 6 stools at a counter. They serve these things- tiny slider hamburgers , soda pop in the can, and a bag of chips- nothing more. Do not ask for French Fries as there aren't... More
