The ribs are meaty, the portions generous and the sauce makes it all happen. We mostly order at the drive up window and take it home. They never disappoint with their consistency of quality.

This was okay BBQ, but nothing outstanding. Portions were large, but they need more than one basic sauce (maybe 3 or 4). My wife liked her's better than I did mine. She had pulled pork and I had chicken.

This is a great place to eat. The ribs are so tender. We had ribs, brisket, beans. Everything was wonderful. We enjoyed everything we had. The people are so nice there & the atmosphere was very relaxing.

I have lived in Kansas for about 3 years now and I have been on an endless search for good Kansas BBQ. I'm beginning to think that does not exist or my expectations are too high. The Hickory Hut BBQ was hyped up to me by one of my friends for a long time. So after a day trip to... More

Can't believe we finished a slab of ribs. They were delicious. Robert Irvine would have a great time redoing the interior, but he couldn't improve the rib recipe. Only regret it it 1500 miles from home. Definitely would go back if ever in the area again.

We went here for dinner based on trip advisor reviews. We greatly enjoyed our meal, though the barbecue flavor was not the very best I have ever had. The pulled pork was tasty yet not outstanding. The fries, on the other hand, were outstanding. Place was very clean and service was very friendly. The drinks and condiments were self-serve, a... More

stopped at Hickory on our way west and on the return. Some of the best ribs and brisket we have had. Ashame they don't sell beer but food was tasty, service quick and ribs were to die for. worth the short detour off I-70. It's finding places like this that make trip advisor an essential travel tool.

I was in Salina on business, got my trusty phone out, and searched for any restaurants that were near me, I was surprised that the #1 restaurant in Salina was less than a mile away, so I headed that way. The first thing that caught my attention was that the BBQ was kept under a light! Bad sign I thought...... More

This Texas barbecue snob got blown away by this place on the way back home from the College World Series in Omaha. Clearly where the locals eat lunch, with the cops and EMTs in attendance, we were too late for the burnt ends, but the ribs were world-class. Need to figure out how to get back to Salina!

Every time we drive through Kansas, we stop here for the best BBQ my family has ever had! I grew up in the South, but nothing compares to Kansas BBQ. Their sauce is amazing! Great pulled pork and amazing brisket. My husband loves the burnt ends. The people are great. One of my favorite stops.
