Love their BBQ but most of all - love their baked beans. best I have ever eaten. The ribs are outstanding and just fall off the bones.

Hickory hut is consistently rated the best barbeque in salina. Pricing is reasonable. They have a drive thru for people on the go.

This little place has been serving up the best ribs, beef, pulled pork and chicken in Salina for quite a few years. I am a certified KCBS judge so I like to think I know good BBQ. Their ribs are cooked to judging perfection and they use a great tasting rub and sauce. They are not lathered in sauce so... More

Hickory Hut has wonderful food and great service. It is family owned and operated. I feel it's the best BBQ in Salina and the prices are reasonable.

Ate here after reading reviews. Reasonal price. We should have split dinner and we still would have had plenty. I agree with other reviews regarding slaw. Enjoyed ribs. Meat fell off the bones and the sauce was a sweet one, which we like. Plenty of seating.

The best barbeque in Kansas. We do not live in Salina but will always stop by when traveling home from a trip, even going out of our way so we can eat some great barbeque. Love it all but the burnt ends and pork are the best you will find anywhere. The baked beans are amazing and have slices of... More

Loved the pork sandwich and baked beans, some of the best I've ever had and the atmosphere and decorations are perfection for a small-town joint.

No salads here, just awesome meats and sides. Absolutely fantastic. Great smoked meat smell when you walk in that can only come from good wood. Had the chopped brisket, burnt ends, chopped pork and half chicken between us. All great. Baked beans are awesome, fiancé says potatoe salad is the best. Even the toast is great. Oh and good brewed... More

Be prepared for a little whole-in-the-wall where you order at the counter. My husband thought the ribs were very good, but potato salad fair. My sister and I thought the beans were very good, the cole slaw poor, but the pulled pork and chicken sandwiches quite good. We always compare our local meat market's barbecue to others and this didn't... More

My wife and I eat at Hickory Hut fairly often. The true test of a bar-b-cue place is the ribs. Just the right amount of spice for your liking, a little sweetness, tender, and cooked just right. This is how I would describe the ribs at Hickory Hut. These ribs are dry rub and great to eat just plain. They... More
