Had lunch here, you order at the counter, they give you a number & within 5-10 minutes your food is delivered to your table, a great place to try, especially versus all the fast food joints in Salina. Not terribly expensive either. I enjoyed a pulled pork sandwich, sauce is on the sweeter side, so good to know if that's... More

Stopped here because of trip advisor number 1 ranking. I would not have stopped just by driving past. Very good meal with generous portions. Sweet sauce and sweeter baked beans.

BBQ is one of my favorite foods, and usually a pretty safe bet when travelling. The food was not bad, but wasn't nearly as good as I expected from the promotional slogans and promises the restaurant made. Service wasn't all that great either. We ordered at the counter, and my daughter felt rushed to order. She wasn't made to feel... More

I love BBQ!! And Hickory Hut is the best. I’ve traveled a lot and enjoyed BBQ in many places. Hickory Hut is one of my top three BBQ places. I can see why it has such terrific ratings. The young man who greeted us was thoughtful and patient as we made our choices. Customer service was outstanding. My wife and... More

I don't know where to begin to describe the feeings I have for this establishment. If I were allowed to get married to a restaraunt, I would get down on one knee and propose to the HIckory Hut today. It's that good. This is the most SERIOUS BBQ you will ever eat. I've eaten as the supposed "best of the... More

Where do I start with this place. They were like my first drink, only with burnt ends. I travel for work and try very hard to hit all the BBQ joints I can find, and my first question is always, do you have burnt ends? These guys spoiled me. I have never found a place that did burnt like these... More

When I first walked into the Hickory Hut I thought I was walking into a doughnut shop. There were so many cops eating there. :o) Joking aside, I was on a drive from Denver to OKC and this was the only place along the route that I could find that intrigued me. And as roadside restaurant this place is not... More

This place is excellent. Try the potato that they smother in their special sauce! Make sure you get there early so you can try the burnt ends!
