We stumbled upon this restaurant as we were exploring Salina. We were hungry and decided to try it. We were not disappointed. My wife wife loves Italian food as do I but I am not a big pasta fan. This restaurant changed my mind, a bit. The pasta dishes are delicious however the pizza needs improving. The pizza tastes like... More

We were traveling through Salina and looking for something that wasn't burgers or chicken strips. We aren't generally picky eaters but we were pleasantly surprised by the food at this restaurant. There were six in our party and we did not have an appetizer or entree that was not good. Very pleased with our find.

Traveling home through Kansas we found ourselves searching Siri for a place for lunch. We called ahead to see if they were busy and, although they weren't, took our name to reserve a table anyway. It was a Sunday afternoon and Martinelli's was not busy. Street parking was ample and we were seated quickly in a great window booth facing... More

We went with a group of 6 and had a nice table where we could actually all hear each other and have good conversation. We waited about 15 minutes for the table but the food was definitely worth it. The appetizer sampler was great, especially the toasted ravioli, bruschetta, and calamari sticks. I had chicken marsala for dinner, and the... More

Have eaten here three different times, three different years as I was driving through Kansas on vacation. The food is the best tasting Italian I have ever eaten, the wine is superb ( I enjoyed a bottle of Bell'agio Chianti 2012 this time) and the service is outstanding. The price is incredible, a third to half of what other restaurants... More

The first time we went here (6 years ago) it was recommended by our hotel. The second time we stopped here, we were passing through Salina and just happened to stop here. All of a sudden, we realized that we had eaten here years prior. It was delicious. The next two times we stopped here purposely!!! We will always put... More

Growing tired of Olive Garden, I tried this great little Italian restaurant down town for a business dinner. The place was packed on a Wednesday night around 7:00pm, but no wait. My business associate & I each tried the special, a pesto white sauce with chicken & bacon with rigatoni noodles ($9.99). A nice change from the heavier Alfredo sauce... More

Passing through on our way to CO, we read some good reviews and decided to stop. It was a great idea. Great food, fun atmosphere, fabulous service. Scott was AWESOME and we wish him luck finishing school!

Recommended stop in downtown Salina. The half sized chopped salad was very good. The waitress was a little too casual, leaning on our table and asking if the food was "awesome." Stand up straight, honey.

This place is amazing! The best italian food I have ever had and the closest anyone has ever come to grandma's marinara sauce. The portions were gigantic (i was eating leftovers for 3 meals) and the service was fabulous. Everyone was friendly, the atmosphere was nice, and the location is convenient. Great value for the $ and very popular. I... More
