It may not be what you are accustomed to in Europe or your favorite, independent barista, but it's right there on Main Street. My cappuccino cost $2.85. The interior is a more sophisticated and comfortable than you would find in this part of the state.

I've been patronizing this establishment for a long time and the attitude of the owner has slowly eroded into a rude one where you do feel like you are an imposition. The coffee in and of itself isn't that great. There are definitely better coffees out there to be served. But it was convenient and I liked visiting with some... More

This review was provided by a local business man whom we had elected to discontinue his line of credit. It was not “personal” rather a business decision that he has since made personal. We offered this "tab" interest and service charge free. Since his monthly charges had dropped to approximately $25.00 per month, it no longer made since for us... More

Stopped at this coffee shop while driving through to Colorado. Instantly welcoming. Clean, tasteful, and very cozy. The coffee tasted wonderful. Owner was friendly and fun to talk to. The whole experience made me wish I lived in Russell, so I could go to this coffee shop more often.

I have family in Russell. When I have visited I have gone to this business on several occasions. In October 2013, however, the service was extremely poor. On all 3 occasions I wasn't greeted when I entered and stepped up to the counter. The female "barrista" finally took her eyes off her smart phone, barely looking at me, and asked... More

Please accept my apology for substandard service. On two fronts; we have a standing policy of no phones behind the coffee bar. Rest assured that this policy has been reiterated to the staff. For the most part we greet guests as they come through the door. Since this did not happen I am very disappointed. As for myself, I can... More

We did a nostalgic side trip to my little home town of many years ago on our way from Point A to Point B and were pleasantly surprised to find this small gem. The panini sandwiches were excellent, and the chocolate-cherry-root beer cupcake we shared was out of this world--and beautiful to look at as well. The atmosphere is warm... More

You'll find exceptional coffee drinks here...and the best Italian cream sodas! Tho they have a limited food menu, what they have is very good. Only open mornings to mid-afternoon, you'll find it accommodating and a pleasant atmosphere.

Cutest coffee shop ever! Cozy armchairs, puzzles & games, local art on the walls. I only got a chai but it was great. Was worth the stop off the highway just to be enveloped in the atmosphere.

On a recent drive across Kansas, I went to the trouble to pull off I-70 and drive into Russell to visit Espresso, Etc. based on previous reviews. The place is mostly Etc., the coffee is low quality and tastes worse than the free coffee from the Marriot I had just left.

I love this place! I go to Espresso Etc. at least once a week and sometimes more. The atmosphere is sophisticated and relaxed, the coffees are spectacular and the owner--Susan--is personable and friendly. She remembers what you ordered last time and goes out of her way to make sure you're happy. Don't let bogus reviews stop you from trying it!
