I had the Plop on Top. It was a variation of the traditional Hot Hamburger. Started with slice of bread covered by 1/2 ground Sirloin Cheese, topped with more mashed potatoes and brown gravy than I could eat. I joked with one of the mean at an adjoining table. Don't order as you can have half of mine.

Kind of off the beaten travler's path, south of the highway on Main Street, this was recommended to me by a local. Their rib eye is top notch and they cook it just the way you ask (perfect Rare for me). The Chicken Fried Steak is the best I've had anywhere (and I'm picky). Great menu, great service, great food... This restaurant is the same as Club D'Est with just a wall separating them. The Club because of strange KS laws made it a requirement to separate the alcohol service from the café. That has now changed and alcohol is available on both sides. They share a well run kitchen with a varied menu. An archway separates the two eateries... More

The steak that I had on one of my visits to this restaurant was one of the best that I ever had. But, on a subsequent visit my steak was sub-par. I suggest avoiding the peak dining hours as I feel that the poor steak quality on my one visit was probably the result of rushed cooking due to the... More

They are not fast here but we weren't in a hurry. Atmosphere is pleasant and quiet enough to have a conversation, I was there for a lunh mtg, but loud enough that you cannot hear your neighbor's conversation. I ordered the bacon avacado cheese burger and it came without the avacado. When I pointed it out to the server, she... More

Good place to go for lunch. Make sure you have time, as seems to take a while to get your order. If you are in the mood for salad or sandwich it is good. People have said it also has good soup if soup and salad more what you are looking for. I have not had it but was told... More

Uptown Cafe is one of the better places to eat in Pratt and usually the first choice when the family is in town. Lots of seating, full of locals (especially at lunch). Portions are huge. Menu is large, selections are what you would expect for a small farming town . . . hamburgers, fried fish, meatloaf, a selection of sandwiches.... More

We tried to eat here at 9:15 on a Wednesday morning. Opening time on the door said 8 AM, but the door was locked, no sign of anyone around.

After 20 + minutes, we finally convinced somone to wait on us, that was the longest wait, we were ready to leave. Once we finally got our order in, another long wait began. Seems to be an on-going problem here.
