Great Sushi Great Service

Juns is great for sushi. Very traditional setting that makes you feel like "you are not in Kansas anymore. Food is already great and fresh and the people are very friendly.

I challenge any one in KC to find a better sushi joint. Yes, it's not as flashy as the Plaza or Town Center, but from a food standpoint, it can hold its own.

I eat here when I eat Sushi the have fresh sushi grade fish flown in twice a week. Try the Hamachi kama for a cooked piece a fish you will never forget. They have Uni, Toro, and all the sashimi. Enjoy the squid salad or any of their special rolls on the board.

Sushi is one of those parts of the food universe where there seem to be 3 planets of quality--a small one of really bad food, a very large one of pretty good food, and a small one of superior food. Exceptional sushi is hard to come by, in my experience--the best I've encountered has been in California, with the restaurant... More

Eat here often, and the food is pretty good usually (not great), but the bigger challenge is when busy,,not enough servers.

Jun's was one of the first sushi places in KC and it remains one of the best. There's usually a wait on weekend evenings but don't fear, tables turn pretty fast. We love any of their specialty rolls.

We go to Jun's so often, the staff has begun to recognize my daughter. It is her absolute favorite restaurant. Everything we've ever had on the menu is delicious. We've been for lunch, dinner, and carry-out many, many times, and the food is always top-quality and freshly made. The waitstaff is invariably friendly and courteous. I can't recommend Jun's highly... More

We are weekly sushi diners and wanted to try this place that we had heard so much about. Service was very slow and unfriendly. Miso was cold and tasteless. Nigiri was fresh but small pieces. Rice was above average. Rolls were mediocre and not very creative. Atmosphere was not great. We still prefer Kaiyo, kyoto, or kona.
