Eating at Chicken Annie's is like going back to a simpler time

i grew up eating at Chicken Annie's in the '70s but moved away and hadn't eaten there in several years. Had the wishbone dinner with German potato salad and German cole slaw. Good sized portions and the chicken was delicious. Thought I'd gone back in time 40 years. The bread comes with your meal... read more

One of our favorite Sunday dinner spots. Grab a bourbon along side your chicken breast. Add some delicious sides to top it off. Friendly and cozy. Love this place. Staff is always great!

I've gotta say, it's not as good as Chicken Mary's. The chicken was a little dry, and the green beans were under-seasoned. The waitress we had was very friendly, though, and the bread was very soft (I'm not a big bread person, so this didn't mean much to me).

We stopped here because of the write up in the Kansas State travel guide. The chicken was good and so were the sides. The German cole slaw was definitely different. The price was very good, but we have had chicken just as good at other places, so not sure it is worth the drive.

Hands down the best fried chicken and homemade onion rings! Great place to take the family! People say there is no difference in chicken Annies and Mary's....but there is!!! Annies is my favorite!

Just like Chicke Mary's, this place offers you greasy fired chicken that's not particularly delicious. The setting is not cozy at all and the side dishes are terrible.

they have the best chicken in southeast Kansas or southwest Missouri. Not only is their chicken delicious, but the sides are outstanding and you get a great selection of sides

Yes this restaurant was on travel channel food wars and even though they didn't win which (they should have) it's just as good as your grandma's fried chicken. Everything they have to offer is the best. You have to order their onion rings, the best onion rings ever! And try their German Cole slaw. You won't go wrong with this... More

The chicken was very good , but the water & tea need improvement . The water is almost a sulfur tasting, I am guessing they must be using well water. I have tasted well water to taste like that though.
