Food used to be really good. But now the food is greasy. When I want a steak for $20, I want real A1 not cheap brand steak sauce put in A1 bottles they refill. How can you call yourself a steakhouse and not offer real A1 steak sauce. We could taste the difference and when confronted our waiter confirmed our... More

My husband and I have been here twice in the last month even through it is a 45 minute drive from where we were visiting. This is a very casual restaurant with a rustic type atmosphere. The service is good. The pork tenderloin is huge and tasty, the onion rings are nice and crispy. They also serve Fanta Red Cream... More

Should of gone with the waitress' favorite. Which happen to be the burgers. More of a burger/bar type of place. Wait staff was great, but our waitress never introduced herself. Quick with the specials, which weren't that special. My prime-rib had no flavor. Not enough salt or A1 sauce even helped. Disappointing. And the massive pork tenderloin sandwich was way... More

This was more of a bar atmosphere than a steakhouse - my steak was overcooked, tough and had a poor taste. The baked potato was still hard in the middle making it difficult to eat. I won't be back anytime soon...

We enjoy driving to Paola on the Square to an evening at Emery's. Quaint, down home feel. Very reasonable prices, excellent food. Usually have good specials. The guys in our group really enjoyed the steak special.

I have been in this restaurant twice. I went back a second time because I had a decent burger here the first time. The second time I had there daily special of chicken dumpling soup with a grilled cheese. It was a cold windy day and this sounded like comfort food. It was anything but. The soup tasted like cream... More

I heard rave reviews but was really disappointed. The steak was average...very disappointing to say the least. The pie looked good.

Visited here for lunch on a Saturday around noon. This is a pub-type place that is located on the town square. We had the daily special, which was a half-tenderloin sandwich and fries for $6. Large portions, so I don't know if one person could eat a whole one, the half was enough for me. Service was attentive. They also... More
