The Veal Garozzo was very tender and the two varieties of bread that arrive at your booth before ordering is a bonus. My wife's chicken spedini was outstanding.
If I have my say we will never eat in this restaurant again. We were sent to a large back room with the atmosphere of a vacant warehouse. The prices were astronomical and the food was less than average. I ordered canneloni and that was all I received for $15.00- no salad, no nothing. My husband ordered pasta with a... More
We wanted a nice restaurant to eat out with two of our best friends. We hadn't eaten here for some time. The food was exceptional with generous and very tasty servings. It was quiet allowing to talk with our friends. The meals are a bit pricey-but worth every penny.
Went there on the recommendation of family. The food was great, especially the stuffed artichoke appetizer with prosciutto and cheese. Their specialty is Spiedini, it was very good. Their recommendation for a white wine is our new favorite, Luccio Moscato.
I will never understand why pasta and at that average pasta is so expensive. I went with my sweetie for a family birthday dinner. We had separate checks and that wasn't a problem. We had the pasta with meat sauce. It wasn't really meat sauce. it was a meatball that had been chopped up and tossed in. It was really... More
Stopped in to Garozzo's almost by accident. We decided to stay and give it a shot. We ordered the Triple Pasta to share. OMG, it came out in a platter the size of turkey broiler (not really, but it looked that big). We started to eat it and could not get past the amount of food that was there. Great... More
Had a business dinner with colleagues -- it was first time for each of us. I had spiedini with diablo preparation - wonderful seasoning, spicy but didn't mask chicken. A colleague had eggplant parmesan and said that it was wonderful. We both enjoyed house salad. A third colleague ordered pasta trio. We believe that trio supposedly meant three types of... More
Business dinner with colleagues. House salad is excellent. They always make great drinks as well. Morretti beer on draught. I had the Seafood Diablo. It was more like the feast of seafood. Very nicely seasoned and not too spicy, there was a tremendous amount of shrimp, scallops, clams and mainly calamari (squid). So much that I couldn't even touch the... More
Locally owned and award winning. One visit and you will know why they have won so many. Outstanding service and food. Any of the chicken spiedini dishes are wonderful. The three way pasta is great and a serving size worthy of man verses food. One of our favorite Italian places in Kansas City.
