Good food; Good service

This is an upscale experience. The food was good...loved the bread! The wine selection is super. The service was very attentive and helpful. A bit expensive for the average pocketbook.

The place look fine, perhaps a little dated. The staff is generally friendly but not high caliber. Our server disappeared for at least 20 minutes at one point. The food is what they really need to change to bring up the place. The appetizer were horrible. How do you mess up garlic bread with cheese? Well let me tell you.... More

We went for a late lunch with a group of nine. We were the only ones eating that late. The service was very good but the food seemed to take a long time to make it to the table considering we were about the only ones there. I had the chicken spidini in a Diablo sauce. The chicken was overlooked... More

We visited this restaurant at the recommendation of our realtor after a long day of house hunting. We were seated promptly in a booth. Our server was a middle aged woman who seemed unhappy. She took our order and only returned to deliver food, drink refills and the check. She never explained the menu and seemed in a hurry to... More

Ate here for the first time recently and had a good experience. I thought it was a little expensive but the overall ambiance, food, and service were very good. I will return for nice dining occasions.

Decent pizza who deliver to the Doubletree and they get it there hot and in about 30 min. I've tried the thin crust, though they also serve a Chicago deep dish.

Garozzo's was packed the night we went and we had to wait for a table for 25 minutes, but it was worth the wait. We had a party of six with kids and adults. The service was excellent. The atmosphere friendly and upbeat. Everything we had was wonderful. I mean everything. The bread. The calamari. All the various main pasta... More

This place enjoys close to iconic status in the area. While I hate to rate it poorly I'm afraid that is all it deserves. The atmosphere is fine; comfortable feeling. The staff is friendly and attentive, if not overly knowledgeable. The food does not live up to its name. The salads were tasty if unimaginative. Lettuce, artichokes and pimentos with... More

We had a rehearsal dinner of 30 and went to Garozzo's - Overland Park. We were shown a room and agreed upon the price. When we showed up for the evening we had half the space we were shown. The other half was an investment dinner. Their noise could be heard in our room and I'm sure our noise was... More

My wife and I ate here for lunch in July of 2014 and found it fabulous. No offense, but it reminded me of some of my favorite Italian restaurants on St. Louis' Hill, which after eating Italian around the world, I believe is a compliment indeed. For an appetizer we had the Heaven and Hell; it was heaven! I had... More
