Beef ribs and baked beans are the star of this establishment...best I have ever had. Rudy's still got the corn and turkey beat by a mile. Their coleslaw taste like Kentucky fried chicken. Wonderful experience. Must try the ribs before you die.

The Crown Prime beef rib is worth the money - and I'll be traveling to KS to have this again and will dream about it until I do. It pulls/falls off the bone easily, it's so tender, and the burnt crispy parts have this sugary carmelized goodness...drool. Also loved the cheesy corn bake and cheesy potato bake. And no, ordering... More

Pork burnt ends are great but if you don't like gelatinous beef, do NOT go for beef. Sides are heavy and if you're smart you won't eat more than 1/5.

We were so impressed that we ended up eating here TWICE during our 5-6 day stay in the area!! Everything melts in your mouth, large quantities served (certainly enough for two with leftovers for snacking later). Easy access off Melcalf.

My first time here and visiting on business, came here based on reviews and recommendations. I got a caesar side salad, burnt ends and lamb ribs combo along with beans and veggie kabob sides with a local brew on tap. Overall, not bad. I sat at the bar, it was later and only two other people at the bar, but... More

So good. Barbecue KC style like it was meant to be. Ribs, brisket, burnt ends--it's all here. As my title suggests, get the cheesy corn bake. It's that awesome. Don't skimp on the sides at this place--they complement your entrees with eloquence.

This restaurant has great quality. Food has good quantity and quality. This last time I have chosen the Strip beef rare with potato salad. Great beef with combination with potato mayonese salad with apple. excellent combination. Stella. Artois could be colder but was not so bad. Service was very good with good attention during all my stay.

You know its good, because locals flock to it. We came from out of town, waited 15 minutes, well worth it. Tennille has a radiant smile, an ability to clarify the menu, and a caring manner. At her suggestions, we picked pale ale and shared the Crown Two Bone ( beef) with three sides and carrot cake. Nothing "ordinary" about... More

Have eaten here a couple of times when visiting from out of town. The experience has always been excellent. Food and service are top notch. Even the baked bean side dish was very tasty. These people know how to do ribs! Will definitely make Jacks a "must go" destination on my next Kansas visit.
