Our farm-raised, grain-fed catfish is far superior to his muddy river cousin. Scientifically-bred and carefully tended, he has all but acquired a pedigree now that Gourmet magazine rates him the third-best-selling fish in America.Higher in protein than most meats, our freshwater catfish is becoming exceedingly popular among health-conscious American diners-and with good reason. Not only is our catfish low in cholesterol, fat and calories, he also rates high in aesthetic appeal since he has no fishy smell. It is also nutritious, healthy and downright delicious. Now, will we see you at the Annual World Catfish Festival in Mississippi next year? Or at least back at the Jumpin' Catfish next week! We will also cater for 40-500 people just about anywhere!! We come to you and cook in our catering wagon so all the food is cooked and hot on the spot!

My first visit to Jumpin' Catfish was almost 20 years ago. At the time, I didn't think I liked catfish at all. This restaurant forever changed my mind. Their catfish is excellent, and their white beans are phenomenal! We make it a point to take guests from out of town whenever possible. They all enjoy it as much as we... More

Wonderful place to enjoy wild game and fish. one of the few places in the area where you can get Quail, Pheasant, Duck, Frog, Catfish, Salmon, Walleye. Sides are served home-style and they give you plenty. Service is great. Quail is outstanding. If you are tired of the standard choices and not afraid of some of the less common meats... More

If you love catfish this is the place. Dinner there twice on this trip once on a Tuesday and had the all you can eat Catfish and Quail. Outstanding! Second trip was on Thursday and had the catfish again. Although, they were offering all you can eat crab legs that night... The owner is an all around meet and greet... More

I happened to stumble upon this restaurant when driving around. I'm a sucker for authentic homestyle cooking, and this looked up my alley! We had a party of 4 and were quickly seated. Upon arrival we were given ham and beans, coleslaw, and hushpuppies. These sides made it worth it, before we even ordered the main. The coleslaw is simply... More

Dinners are served family style and it is so good! They have daily specials, Tuesday is all you can eat quail, Wednesday is all you can eat shrimp, Thursday is all you can eat crab legs, Sunday is all you can eat of the above specials. They serve all you can eat catfish everyday. They are closed on Monday. They... More

Jumpin' Catfish should be called Dave's Crab and Lobster House, because on Thursday nights they feature all you can eat Snow Crab clusters, and the Friday night feature is Twin Lobsters! And these are quality seafood specials. The crab legs are the larger grade of snow crab, not the small thin legs you get at Red Lobster. The lobsters are... More
