Description: Our farm-raised, grain-fed catfish is far superior to his muddy river...
Our farm-raised, grain-fed catfish is far superior to his muddy river cousin. Scientifically-bred and carefully tended, he has all but acquired a pedigree now that Gourmet magazine rates him the third-best-selling fish in America.Higher in protein than most meats, our freshwater catfish is becoming exceedingly popular among health-conscious American diners-and with good reason. Not only is our catfish low in cholesterol, fat and calories, he also rates high in aesthetic appeal since he has no fishy smell. It is also nutritious, healthy and downright delicious. Now, will we see you at the Annual World Catfish Festival in Mississippi next year? Or at least back at the Jumpin' Catfish next week! We will also cater for 40-500 people just about anywhere!! We come to you and cook in our catering wagon so all the food is cooked and hot on the spot!

Good home cookin'

It isn't a gourmet meal or anything, but really good home cooking. We went early on a Saturday evening and the crowd definitely leaned older. Beans and hushpuppies they present upon arriving are really good. Coleslaw a little sweet for me but not bad. Fried chicken and catfish were both really good.

Jumpin Catfish isn't fancy, but the food was very good, and there was lots of it! We went with another couple, and we were impressed by the variety of combinations you could get. I've always liked fried catfish, and this was definitely one of the best catfish meals I've had in a long time!

This was the first time in a LONG time the family and I had been back to Jumpin' Catfish. My wife and I each had a 3 piece catfish filet dinner and my adult daughter had the frog legs. The beans n' ham ROCK - we went through 3 bowlsful. The cole slaw was very good. The catfish fillets were... More

The owner of Jumping Catfish is an outdoors man and the dinning room is lined with stuffed animals, birds and food. The best items offered are the catfish and fired chicken. They bring bowls of beans and slaw to the table as soon as you sit down.

My first visit to Jumpin' Catfish was almost 20 years ago. At the time, I didn't think I liked catfish at all. This restaurant forever changed my mind. Their catfish is excellent, and their white beans are phenomenal! We make it a point to take guests from out of town whenever possible. They all enjoy it as much as we... More

Wonderful place to enjoy wild game and fish. one of the few places in the area where you can get Quail, Pheasant, Duck, Frog, Catfish, Salmon, Walleye. Sides are served home-style and they give you plenty. Service is great. Quail is outstanding. If you are tired of the standard choices and not afraid of some of the less common meats... More
