We live within a few blocks of AJ's and often walk down for a slice. I love the cheese blocks: little bits of provolone baked inside of dough and served with marinara. So yummy! They have a great patio, too.

Loved the pizza here - some of the best I've had. Salad was good, but huge pieces of lettuce that needed to be cut up into smaller pieces, which was difficult with a fork. I probably wouldn't order the salad again just because I don't know that it was worth the cost. But the pizza more than made up for... More

Great pizza. Love thin crust. Lots of variety. Toasted ravioli was great appetizer. Not fast food but prompt courteous service. Clean. Friendly staff.

It's really rare anymore to find a place where you can get a good, individually prepared slice, especially in the midwest. AJ's will do you just about whatever you want, and every single time, it's good. They have daily specials, too: $5.50 for the slice of the day plus a fountain drink, and that's a great way to explore the... More

Love the variety of pizzas in this place. Staff is super nice. And the food doesn't let you done. Not a lot of variety of drinks, but that's not why you come here. Lots of darn good food!

This was good, but not the real deal. There's something about NY pizza that happens nowhere else in the world. Still they gave it a good try and the rest of the menu is wicked - in both ways!

My wife and I have eaten pizza here many many times since moving to Manhattan almost 4 years ago. The pizza can be ordered by the slice. The price you pay for a slice of pizza is great. It would compare to two slices plus for what you get from a large pizza at a chain pizza place. I enjoy... More

Oh my gosh! I just ate at AJ's for the first time and I probably will not eat at any other pizza place in Manhattan ever again. Their traditional pizza sauce is seriously life changing! A great environment and friendly staff. Definitely worth every cent!

We had a very good meal here. They have a large selection of salads, and sandwiches, and of course pizza. Fun decor.

This is just too expensive for what you get in taste. I doubt that I will go back, because of the stinking odor throughout the building. Never had this in a pizza place before.
