This was the second time that we've been to Nelson's Landing and both times have been okay; not fantastic, not horrible, just okay. My husband and I both ordered chicken fried steaks and they tasted burnt. We finally decided the oil that they were cooked in had burned and made them taste that way. They were huge, though, and the... More

I've been to Nelson's Landing several times and would go back again. The servings are big & the service is great. If you are on a diet, this probably isn't the best place to eat. I enjoyed not only the meal, but the pie as well.

From the decor, to the food, and atmosphere, this place is amazing. Located in the hometown of Greenbay Packers reciever Jordy Nelson, Nelson's Landing is a must for anyone visiting the area. If you are coming to Manhattan Kansas for business or just passing thorough you need to go to Lenordardville and eat at Nelson's. If you are visiting Ft.... More

This is not good quality food - there is NOTHING fresh on the menu (only canned vegs) margarine (I.e., no real butter) in the little containers; and just average meat servings. Being that there are no decent restaurants in a 20 mile radius this is at least better than fast food.

I recently dined at Nelson's Landing in Leonardville and enjoyed their "Landing" sandwich. The beef brisket on the juicy hamburger was delightful! I met Ms.Nelson and couldn't have been more impressed with her friendliness. The restaurant, though off the beaten path, is a must see for all Green Bay Packer fans!

Thursday lunches are southwestern/Mexican specialties and are always wonderful. Homemade pies top off your meal with sweetness like your mother or grandmother would serve. Haven't had a bad meal at this place!

I've eaten there several times in the past and have found the food to be of varying and uneven quality. The chicken-fried steak is pretty good, but the brisket tastes baked and has no hint of smoke flavor. The chicken strips are frozen and the corn is canned. A restaurant should be serving fresh food, not frozen food. The back... More

Nelson's is best known for it's chicken fried steak and it IS good. It can feed two, so if you have a smaller appetite plan to share with a friend or ask for a doggie bag!

Made the trek to Leonardville thinking this would be a Packer bar. Staff had trouble finding game and then turned sound off after halftime, even tho we were dressed in full Packer gear. One trip was plenty.

Since the place is only 5 miles from us, we tend to go here a lot. They are best known for their chicken fried steak. This baby is huge! We also like their brisket that the have on Friday and Saturday night. Great Sports bar!
