Stopped here for dinner while traveling through the area. We are huge K State football fans and saw Jordy play every home game. We couldn't pass up the opportunity to eat at the family restaurant. My daughter and I had the chicken fried steak. It was very good. Just the right amount of breading and seasoning. My wife had a... More

For those of you that do not know.... This place is owned by the parents of Jordy Nelson from the Green Bay Packers. He went to school at Riley County High School and played for K-State University football, before he got drafted to the NFL. My uncle, Bob Whearty knows this family very well, and turned me on to this... More

Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant. Being a Packers fan this is a place you need to stop at if your are in Kansas. Great food and service.

Food is good roadhouse food. Not quite what it was when they started, More and more of the food appears to be outsourced frozen stuff. But the atmosphere is a lot of fun. The wait staff is usually very friendly. Prices are good and the portions are plenty. Recommended.

What an experience! Great food at a reasonable price. Local color (meaning folks as well as decor) Lots of sporting memorabilia from famous local athletes.

This place is just perfect for this small community. Best known for their Chicken Fried Steak. Bring a hearty appetite. Very reasonable price.

This was the second time that we've been to Nelson's Landing and both times have been okay; not fantastic, not horrible, just okay. My husband and I both ordered chicken fried steaks and they tasted burnt. We finally decided the oil that they were cooked in had burned and made them taste that way. They were huge, though, and the... More

I've been to Nelson's Landing several times and would go back again. The servings are big & the service is great. If you are on a diet, this probably isn't the best place to eat. I enjoyed not only the meal, but the pie as well.

From the decor, to the food, and atmosphere, this place is amazing. Located in the hometown of Greenbay Packers reciever Jordy Nelson, Nelson's Landing is a must for anyone visiting the area. If you are coming to Manhattan Kansas for business or just passing thorough you need to go to Lenordardville and eat at Nelson's. If you are visiting Ft.... More
