Cute small town restaurant that plays up their connection to Jordy Nelson of the Green Bay Packers well, Green Bay memorabilia every where along with memorabilia from his earlier days. We got seated quickly, waitress was very attentive. Food was great home style cooking, every one cleared their plates no problem. Portions were right on (not to big, not to... More

I lead our HOG Chapter riders from Olathe on Sunday, Nov. 8th to visit Heritage Park in Junction City, and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial that is there, We then proceeded to Nelson's Landing for lunch in nearby Leonardville. It is well worth the drive. The hamburgers are awesome in size and taste. The wait staff was friendly and courtious. The... More

We visited with family on a weeknight. One of the reasons we decided to visit was because if the daily special - Tbone steaks. The server told us the special was changed to filet mignon. Not that they were sold out but that they had changed it. They were VERY disappointed! My chicken fried steak was delicious as usual although... More

Daily lunch specials, monthly liver and onions lunch (last Friday) and weeknight specials are just part of the charm of this wonderful home style restaurant. I personally love their Mexican food on Thursdays, their fried chicken (often served for Sunday lunch) and home grown steaks but my husband is partial to their superb hamburgers--again, locally grown and processed beef. Their... More

We ate on a Saturday evening and it was so busy. The staff was very friendly and they quickly got people in and out, without feeling like you must get up as soon as your last bite is swallowed. Of course K-State and Packer fans will enjoy the Jordy Nelson items and fathead on the wall. Everything our group ordered... More

Stopped here for dinner while traveling through the area. We are huge K State football fans and saw Jordy play every home game. We couldn't pass up the opportunity to eat at the family restaurant. My daughter and I had the chicken fried steak. It was very good. Just the right amount of breading and seasoning. My wife had a... More

For those of you that do not know.... This place is owned by the parents of Jordy Nelson from the Green Bay Packers. He went to school at Riley County High School and played for K-State University football, before he got drafted to the NFL. My uncle, Bob Whearty knows this family very well, and turned me on to this... More
