Good hotel food

Ate the breakfast buffet two mornings. Both times it was very good. Omelet bar very nice. Service was excellent. Had the prime rib buffet one evening formdinner. The meat was good (per BH, I don't eat it) and the salads, three different ones available, were very good. The three vegetables were bad... read more

Had two meals there with beers and cocktails. Staff was attentive, but boarder-line surly. I would say it was a moral problem. The end cut on my buffalo meatloaf was almost burnt. No draft beers, a huge disappointment in these times.

On Friday at 6pm, the eve before Valentine's, my husband suddenly invited me to dinner. After calling several restaurants that were (obviously) booked, we remembered the OP1906 restaurant inside the Sheraton Hotel. The food was delicious, and has always been for lunch or dinner. The Valentine's set menu of $79 per couple was a good value. After starters of crab... More

I stopped by here because it was close to my hotel and I wanted to get some Starwood points. I ordered the salmon salad. This was very good salmon. It was so moist. I don't know why everyone has to have such dry salmon. The waiter was also very attentive and helpful. As far as my points are concerned, I... More

Staying at the hotel for several days and nights, we ate here several times, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food was good. The buffets were very good. Prices good, comparable to other hotels' prices. Was just surprised for a hotel this size and being connected to a convention center, that they would be so unprepared for lots of customers.... More

The excellent food, the flexible services, and excellent customer services. There were a few nights where we came back from meetings very late and the staff knew were hungry. They offered to cook for us! We are very blessed!

I have had to stay at the Sheraton for a week, in fact I just finished my last meal here moments ago. Because I didn't have a car, and there are no restaurants within walking distance, I decided I had to buck up and get used to eating at the hotel. Best thing that happened to me during my stay.... I was tempted to try a nice fine dining experience in Overland Park area but was tired at dinner time and decided to try the hotel (Sheraton Overland Park) restaurant. I am usually leery of hotel restaurants but this one I felt was excellent. They had a special on Saturday nights of all you can eat prime rib. I was... More
