We had the gyro sandwiches with rice and salad for $7.95. Huge amount of food for the price and the gyro was a as good as we've ever had. Also had the spinach pastry appetizer and it was wonderful. Love this place.

It's tough in small towns like this to find things that are quality. Most things come out of a can or box. This food tastes mainly quality. I have had better of everything, but I will come back here, and I often go to the buffet on Sunday mornings.

My wife had heard good things about Aladdin Café in downtown Lawrence (Mass Street), so we figured we would give it a try while a friend was visiting from Colorado. She had never had middle-Eastern food before and was enticed by the unfamiliar smells emanating from the kitchen. As we entered there were two parties seated out of probably 20... More

Excellent lentil soup, went after (and received) the recipe for this one. Good chicken schwarma. Went back a couple of days later for more lentil soup and hummus, baba ghanouj, veggies. Service is friendly, prices are reasonable.

Have been here twice this month. The food is pretty straight forward--Mediterranean Greek inspired dishes. Our group enjoyed the lentil soup. The appetizers (house made hummus, baba ghanouj, feta, dolma to etc.,) The dishes ordered ranged from a vegetarian cauliflower to chicken kabob. It really is good eating! What we have a hard time with, is the old style TV... More

A delight! The hummus was tasty, my falafel divine. Great price also. Such a treat during my quick trip to Lawrence.

Craving a gyro, falafel, schwarma or just some hummus? This is probably your best bet in Lawrence. In about 15 visits, I've always had quick service and good food. I dig the turkish-style chicken schwarma and the falafel for a nice lunch. Comes with a fresh little salad. They have hookah somewhere upstairs or away from the restaurant. The ambience... More

I've eaten here several times and always get the gyros. They are fantastic and come with a greek salad and rice. It's all very, very good and at a great price. Love the atmosphere of the place too.
