I'm from Nebraska and I love Runzas. I was so happy to find the Lawrence location after moving to Kansas in 1996. The regular Runza (10/10) is perfect for me, especially when driving. The frings are the best, some fries (10/10) and some onion rings (10/10). The service is always friendly and fast.

Stopped for a quick lunch today, always consistently good food. The staff is attentive, cordial, helpful, and focused on customers. Clean eating area, always a great place for take out too.

Back in my days on the US Olympic Diarrhea Team, I'd suit up in my Pepto-Bismol pink uniform and head to Runza. Before my days as an excretory athlete, I preferred my sandwiches to be composed of solid food products, not suspended liquid holding itself together in a vague zeppelin shape. But the team demanded more of my alimentary canal,... More

I had a Runza burger deal with fries and a diet coke. The hamburger was cooked just the way I like it, well done, moist, and right off the grill and the fries were hot and not too salty. I met friends here after church and it is a quiet place to sit and visit. We finished off the meal... More

First time trying it. Wanted to find out if it was much different than a bierock. I got a runza with cheese, it was good, but then it is fast food (though interesting). It is about the same as a bierock, but these have a little too much breading, and not enough filling.

Ate here and got sick as all get out. Had the runs for two day. It had been the only place I ate all day and then bam!! Following morning I was sick as a dog. Lasted two days.

A hometown favorite, a long term favorite. Always fresh, handmade, fantastic, RUNZAS. Delicious soups. Good service and always the feeling that they actually like to have you visit their establishment. Keep up the good work... we will be back!

I like the Runza and when I go I bring back some to stick in the freezer so I don't have to go out of town to get a Runza.

Runza seems to be a regional chain, centered around the German and Russian-settled areas in Nebraska and Kansas. The namesake sandwich is a little roll or loaf, stuffed with ground beef and whatever they add in there to spice it up. Makes for an interesting break from burgers. Oh ... they also have good burger-joint burgers and fresh-made shakes. If... More
