Very average food,,over priced,,chain restaurant,,,,there are so many really good places to eat in Lawrence I don`t know why you would go here,,,,

Larence is full of Mexican restaurants.. this one stands out amongst the crowd. Very good menu, more room for patrons than some of the others.

Food was good, but they've substituted a mundane salsa for what used to be the best salsa ever.. The previous salsa was fresh tomatoes and other ingredients.. this new stuff is out of a jar and I can get it anywhere.. Come on.. you can do better.!

This is one of those chain places where no matter what you order, it all comes out on one ("careful, hot!") plate. And you eat it and, because you were hungover and it was Sunday, you liked it.

This multi-room restaurant in NW Lawrence features large colorful murals on the walls depicting Iguanas in local scenes [KU etc.] The restaurant has some really good food with an emphasis on Mexican. The food is not spectacular. The chicken is always dry and tastes like it's been microwaved. Menu items are descently priced.

We really like Mexican food but we have never been impressed with anything we've had at the Salty Iquana. I know it is a locally popular place the food is simply average. Their chips are good as is the cheese dip with I think spinach (can't remember the name of it) but that is about it. Entrees seem very heavy... More

I enjoyed the pitcher of margaritas. The food was average fair. Fun atmosphere & murals on the walls.
