Nice Restaurant with House Made Items

The menu is aimed at the more exotic side of dining but I had a traditional lasagna bolognese. It was excellent. They also offer some drinks of their own concoction using house made tonics, etc. which my waitress did not mention were on special for the night but I saw on the board. I had the 715... read more

We chose this as a nice dining option before going to a KU basketball game. It was a great option - right on Mass Street by the hustle and bustle of campus. We ended up starting with a small plate- the ricotta, garlic, and black pepper crostini. It was absolutely delicious. I would order this again in a heartbeat. If... More

We've been to 715 many times over the years and it still continues to amaze and delight. The smoked trout on bruschetta is a fav appetizer. Our main courses, the campanelli & mushrooms, and the Gerber Farms chicken, were very tasty as were our desserts. Whether you try something from their main menu or one of the dinner specials, you... The large bone-in Ribeye is perfect to share and is the best steak in town...by far. Fun, creative menu for a special night out.

The space is very inviting and I here the food his good, but I have gone 3 times for drinks. New Years Eve had a nice Basil Ricky, it was good. I don't remeber what I had the second time, but I do remember we were underwhelmed. This weekend I had a Clockwork Orange and it taste like eating orange... More

"She who must be obeyed" and I dined at 715 for lunch. Although the establishment was not overwhelmed, it took a good 7-10 minutes for us to even receive out water. The structure of the restaurant is such that sound echoes throughout and it is not very inviting or a good conversation. The food on the menu was diverse but,... More

This restaurant got such good reviews, so it was a natural choice when we went out for a double date. Maybe it was because we didn't order a cured meat (which they are known for) but none of us enjoyed our meals. Three of us got specials (pork chops, artic fish) and one got shrimp with pasta. All were very... More

715 is a gem. The food is terrific. The service is great and the ownership is always around. The only weakness is they don't have the best vegetarian options. However, if you like a cool place 715 is one great place.

Dinner here on a Tuesday night, bustling with energy and great food. They are definitely on par with eateries of this type in Denver, Lexington, and Gainesville to name a few. You can even send the kitchen a six pack. Charcuterie is delicious and dinner of 3 side veggies was almost too much. This is a Lawrence gem and it... More

Smoked trout was splendid, but about 6 ounces for $15 for lunch is steep for this area. Cheese plate had 4 slices of cheese and 8 crackers for $9. We spnt $50 on lunch and was hungry later. But it was quality.
