Fun for kids, expensive for parents.

We got to T Rex around 11 on a Saturday so we expected to wait a while. We got on the waiting list with a 50 minute wait. The kids played in the activity area (which costs $2.50 each person and parents have to pay to go in and watch their kids). We bought bags of dirt and rocks for... read more

Scenery was cool, but it had just about lost its novelty after waiting nearly an hour to be seated on a Saturday at 4pm, after being told it would only be 30 minutes originally. Therefore, I wasn't as willing to forgive the food for being sub-par and a bit pricey to boot. If they give you a long wait time,... More

The theme of this restaurant is awesome, especially for the dinosaur lover in your family! There are huge dinosaurs and fish tanks around the place. However, younger kids might be afraid of these huge dinosaurs. Our daughter hated it at age 2 but loved it at age 8. I cannot recommend the food though. They really need to improve the... More

In addition to the fun theme we chose to eat here because we've heard great things about how they handle allergies. I have a 6yr old with life threatening food allergies and this frequently limits where and what he can eat. We told our server about his allergies and a chef came out to help us order something safe. The... More

The service was okay. The food was overpriced, but I guess we were paying for the super cool atmosphere! The kids loved checking out all the different parts of this restaurant!

This place was a joke. Long wait lines to get in. Super crowded. Once we were seated it took us 20 mins to get water. 1 hour to get our food. The place is a DINO themed restaurant for kids who are into that. Its a cool place and the place looks nice. It was just the service and food... More

It's a tourist friendly theme restaurant geared towards kids. Fine dining it ain't. That said, it's better than you might think. Be prepared to wait (at least on a Friday night) because it will be packed. Take the kids to dig up some bones or explore the geode cave (and if you don't have kids borrow some & tell them... More

We got there shortly after they opened for lunch. We were told there would be a 15-20 minute wait. After looking around, we could see a lot of empty tables. Came to the conclusion that there is always a 15-20 minute wait to force you to spend time in the overpriced gift shop area ($20 for a small plastic dinosaur... More

The atmosphere is really great. It's put together in such a great way, and the kids had so much fun. Even our 15 yr old son had a good time, even took a picture with the dinosaur that came around to the tables. Everyone agreed the food was fabulous and we got plenty to eat. Definitely worth the visit!

We have take our grandkids to T-Rex for years. They just love it. The dinos are very authentic looking, acting and sounding. They can be a little scary at first for the younger kids. They have a gift shop, digging for Dino bones, mining for rocks all for a fee. But it's fun for the kids. They have fantastic aquatic aquariums.... More
