We have been here several times and now know what's good to order - I always get the sampler platter and love the coconut chicken & the quesadillas. My husband says the only good thing is the steak, he enjoyed his again this visit. For a cheap souvenir do the Dino dig area, better than the very overpriced gift shop.... More

The food to me was edible but pricey by my standards. However, you are really paying for the moving and roaring dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures. They even have what is described as a real meteorite just outside the front door. The kids really enjoyed walking around looking at everything. Pop music blared -- would have been much better with... It is a great time for the kids. My three, ranging from 3 to 14 have loved each of the times we have been there. They have activities, a gift shop, and a build a bear workshop to entertain them while you wait to be seated. The food seems to be your standard mass produced, microwaved, Sysco food. They do... This place definitely caters to children and the adults with them. We were clearly the only table of all adults, but they seated us near the bar and we had a good time. Food was better than expected... not great but not bad. Fun stop to make with the family or friends if you're feeling youthful and adventurous. It's loud... More

Our kids enjoyed this, grown ups not so much. We expected that though, this is a one time experience. Once you've visited there's no need to go back.

Food was pricey, but not terrible. The atmosphere says it all. Kids loved it. They each bought a "stuffed dinosaur" with a beating heart and granddaughter's has a "giggle" button and the grandson's has a "roar" button....the kids love them. Hope they last for a while.

We had a large group for lunch on a Saturday- three moms and six 14/15 year old girls. Even our teen-aged girls loved this place. Even though the place was packed, they accommodated us nicely after a bit of a wait, putting the girls at one table and moms at a near by table. The staff was great about matching... More

We brought out of town guests this restaurant and experienced the following issues: 1. Ordered nachos with no sour cream, came with sour cream and had to be returned. It took at least 10 minutes to get another order. 2. Everyone received order, except my niece who ordered fried shrimp. When we finally asked it was delivered(30-45 min) after everyone... More

We were in KC for the night and decided to drive over to T Rex as a treat for the kids. Be advised, if you are not from/familiar with the area and are staying downtown (or close) KC, it is a bit of a drive. Not a bad one, but still a drive. We have been to the T Rex... More

I was disappointed in the T-Rex restaurant located at the Legends. We did have a big party, after my wedding. It took forever to get our food to us and it didn't taste good at all. The only thing that is great is the environment.
