You pull up to this gas station and think "This can't be right". But it is again don't be scared while there is a long line its worth it. WARNING! you will wait in line for an hour but its WORTH IT. If you go get the Z-Man, burnt-ends(Mondays and Saturdays only!). Some of the best food I have ever... More

Oklahoma Joe's is a must "eat" on the list when visiting the Kansas City area. Smells fill the street only to entice your taste buds more, and allow you to build anticipation for that first taste of yummy bar-b-que. TIP: Arrive around 4:00-4:30 to beat the after work line.

I was in Kansas City on business and the housekeeper at our hotel stated that we had to try this place. We went here on a Tuesday evening and the line was out the door. The nice part about this restaurant is that by the time you get your food, more than likely a table will be available to sit... More

A recent article about the 10 longest lines for food was published on Yahoo! https://www.yahoo.com/travel/top-10-best-restaurants-with-the-longest-lines-93124715207.html Do not be intimidated. I did not have a long line when I went. Either way, it is worth the wait.

This is our 2nd time here, so we knew to make sure to go out of our way to stop here on our way from Pennsylvania to Colorado. Yes, it's that worth it. Here's what you need to know: 1. Expect to wait in line. We went on a Monday at 2 pm, and the line was a 45-minute wait.... More

Guaranteed, there will be a line. But it is soooo worth the wait! I had the burnt ends (look it up, it is a delicacy, end of the ribs, Carmelites with sauce, boneless, and just heaven!). The brisket was so tender you didn't need a knife. In an old gas station, and was well worth the wait.

If you are ok not eating in the restaurant... or bar station... then definitely get your order to go! You skip the lines and get to enjoy the delicious slice of heaven wherever you would like. The z-man is the best choice, in my opinion. Can't go wrong.

You've seen it on TV, Anthony Bourdain named it 1 of the 13 restaurants to go to before you die, your friends or co-workers have told you about it, but it doesn't mean anything to you until you've checked it out for yourself. Oklahoma Joe's is an experience that should be on your bucket list. Your first thought is "BBQ... More

Oklahoma Joe's is, by far, the best BBQ I have ever had. Having grown up in Kansas City and being weaned on Gate's and Arthur Bryant's since I was a small boy, my previous statement should not be taken lightly. KC has a long and delicious tradition of BBQ and we have a our fair share of restaurants from excellent... More

This has been a KC go to placevfor years . It's finally getting nation wide recognition. This is one of my favorite places to eat in KC and it's right down the street. I was so happy when they put in a new location in south kC. I will say because the original is 30 minutes from my house I... More
