truckstop diner

Right off the interstate. Food is good, service is quick but blah. If your looking for a great truck stop diner with cheap eats... this is your place!

I have lives in JC for a long time and I finally tried Stacys and it was not as good as everyone said. It was extremely crammed and we had to wait 15 minutes for a high chair and even longer for our waitress to even take our drink order and We still never got our hot chocolate or milk.... More

This place was suggested by our son and when we pulled into the parking lot, I wondered what we were in for. Not much on the outside or just inside the door but this place is huge. When we walked in it looked like a typical page from the 60's with the booths, open through into the kitchen and the... More

We spent the night in Junction City and wanted a local breakfast place. Sunday mornings are crowded, but we didn't have to wait too long. The wait staff was really nice, and the food was great. The home made cinnamon rolls are fabulous. I would definitely eat here again.

We went there this morning before we got on the road for 5 hours. The place was super busy? But we were still helped fairly quickly. The guy sitting behind us must not have been so lucky because he said " I guess I don't need to eat today" loudly and left. Our food came after a reasonable amount of... More

We had breakfast at Stacy's this morning. It was a waste of $24. Hash browns were crunchy all the way through. Very strange. Eggs, bacon, and toast were unremarkable. Coffee was OK but they served only non-dairy creamer with it. We will not return.

The food is not great. Biscuits are burnt on top. The prices are high. The employees charge what they want to not what's on the menu. 1 biscuit cost you $1.29 but the employees charge $1.99 plus tax. That is for a plain biscuit where other restraunts with better biscuits charge 2 for $1.00. 8 plain biscuits cost over $17.... More

It is not fancy or over the top but it is comfortable. The food is good and the staff is great. It reminds me of sunday breakfast at my grandmas house...decor and all but that is why I enjoy it.

This place gets full quickly! A lot of locals, usually don't have to wait to be seated. Service can range from excellent to fair depending on your server. But I would recommend it. If you are driving through and in a rush keep going. This is good homestyle food with a country atmosphere.
