From the outside one would never know how special this place is. The huge interior is divided into several rooms, each with an eclectic and entertaining decor. The menu reflects this variety, offering just about anything one could wish for. Our food was excellent (Cobb Salad & Grilled Salmon Dinner). The speed of service was a little slow- completely understandable... More

while this place has been around for a good while, This was my first visit. We went for an early dinner and were promptly seated in the large cavernous main dining room. Food delivery was a bit slow, but food was hot and tasty. Aside from a small error in an order (forgotten and not charged for bacon missing from... More

Food was good ,,but not enough help. Had to wait quite awhile to be seated & served our food. Waitress was apologetic & flustered.

The place was clean and had a lot of room. We were there on a Saturday afternoon during football season with a large group. They did a great job giving us tables together. We called several days before to reserve a spot but they were not prepared with enough staff. Food was cold when it got to the table &... More

Check your credit card closely-they will overcharge if they think they can get away with it. Not sure if they do this with cash transactions.

Typical sports bar food. The hamburger steak was good flavor and value. If you have a few extra minutes travelling down I70, this is a much better stop than fast food. Lots of tvs and a game room makes it a perfect place to get the kids out of the car for a break going to/from colorado.

Certainly better than bar food, this large and open bar/grill has tons of large tables, perfect for groups. I found the steaks and burgers to be much better than similarly priced local joints in this part of the country. I am a Dallas, KC, Denver prime steakhouse kind of guy, but truly enjoyed my sirloin (med rare). I was expecting... More

I have been traveling to Hays twice a month since February and finally give them a shot. I sat myself in the bar area, but not at the bar. I was 1 of 3 other tables in that area. It was not busy, but took 5+ minutes for 1 of the 3 staff members to recognize that I was actually... More

The restaurant is really cool and definately worth trying. Portions were excellent and food was good. They seated us in the front of the restaurant but the back is really, really cool. Kinda wish they would have seated us in the bar are in the back. Loaded with sports memoribilia and the floor in one section is green turf with... More

We have been in Hays for 3 weeks & have been disappointed with most restaurants here. I'm so glad we found Thirsty's. The food & service were both great & the environment is fun! I wish we had one in Florida. If you stop by be sure to order the banana dessert!
