We celebrated our anniversary with a trip to Professor's (70 miles). So glad we made a reservation....the place was packed when we got there -- all tables in both rooms were occupied but the one waiting for us. The food was extremely good with the exception of my mashed potatoes that were a bit dry, even with the gravy. My... More

Loved it. Excellent comfort foods and desserts. Diverse drink menu. Wait staff was amazing. Disappointed they were closed on Mondays.

Glad professors has kept the old menu. Love the homemade appetizers. Hopefully they keep getting quality beef.

I love their steaks, which come straight from the Ellinwood meat-packing plant. Their wraps, salads, and sandwiches are all topnotch, too, along with a fine selection of beers, including the Fat Tire brand from Fort Collins, Colorado. Inside decor is fun, and the service is fast and friendly.

This place is classic. It definately deserves better than Montana Mikes and Golden Corral. Drinks are good, steaks are best in town. They are not trying to be something they are not like down the street. I do agree that place looked closed the first couple times we drove by but you just have to pull in, there open and... More

Acceptable service, food was average, and well-priced. I would eat there again.

we visited on a saturday night and the live band 'Warm Guns' was playing - they were great. One singer composes his own music and has a voice like Neil Diamond. The food was a bargain and really tasty; servers were friendly

Professor steakhose was recommended by the staff at the best western butterfield hotel. The food was good, home cookin' taste and the wait staff was awesome! The prices were great too- after a long day on the road it was nice to walk into Professor's and relax and enjoy!! It's a bit out of the way but once you make... More

I visited Professor Steakhouse a year ago and was terribly disappointed when I at there tonight! Yes they had raised the prices, but I expected more than I got! The waitress forgot our appetizers, and tried to serve them after we had our meal. The chicken fry steak-their specialty not only tasted bad, but was a pint size serving! And... More
