Amazing food! A real treat :)

We have just come back from a lovely meal at La Gabarre! It's Michelin standard but without the pretension and expense! You must visit this restaurant its very worth while. We had two different foie gras to start . The best was the goose one and then we had pigeons which were " to die for " amazing . Atmosphere is very laid back, the young men serving are friendly and efficient . Good address

So glad we pre booked - the restaurant was full. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We will certainly return before our holiday ends.

we were a group of five, and were very warmly welcomed. The foof and the wines were excellent, and the service also lived up to this level. We will be back to taste the local specialities.

We were the only diners on a Friday evening, clearly out of season. Food was well cooked with good sized protons and interesting flavours and textures. Had to slow service down but thoroughly enjoyable evening. Worth a visit.

Something of a local restaurant for us. The menu although short is ever-changing which here in the land of duck, duck and more duck; all served with pommes sarlardais is a real blessing. The staff are lovely and welcoming, the dining room is a bit sparse which means it doesn't have a lot of ambience but the food is good,... More

Second visit to this restaurant in the past 3 years and the quality and service is as good as the first visit. Better to eat on the terrace if possible. The main interior dining room is small and the vibe depending on the gathering, can make or break the experience. That's not a criticism of how the restaurant is run... More

We had lunch here two years ago when travelling in France and wondered whether it would live up to our expectations the second time around. It was even better than we remembered. Last time it was rather chilly and windy and almost all diners sat inside. This time the weather was very warm and sunny and we sat outside on a... More
