Buzzy fun restaurant

We went with friends who dine here quite often. It is a Michelin Bib restaurant - good food and reasonable prices. Busy buzzy restaurant. For starters we had a guacamole and a fois gras, For mains veal and a filet steak. Two bottles of red, very pleasant and not too bad a price €26... read more

We had one of our best meals of our trip at this restaurant. Very cozy atmosphere with a nice view of the river. Very friendly, helpful and professional service. Interesting menu and wine list. Outstanding food. This restaurant seems to be popular with the locals, always a good sign. We would have visited a second time but we couldn’t get... More

Highly recommend this restaurant - we went there as a group of four for a family celebration. Everyones meals were delicious - from starters to deserts. Truly beautiful setting too!

Small dining area, cosy without being crowded. Well patronised by locals/tourists. Food substantial, some interesting items, but not haute cuisine. Bizarre mix of veg accompanying dishes included chopped sprouts, chopped beetroot and slaw. Excellent fillet steak. Wines slightly overpriced and not justifiable in such an area of quality wine production at affordable prices. Service courteous, attentive and prompt. Outside view... More

This restaurant never fails to please. The food is always of best quality, beautifully cooked and presented and extremely tasty. The owners and staff are helpful and friendly, explanations in English if you need them and you can mix the menus to make your ideal meal. The menu itself changes almost daily to reflect the produce available locally. This restaurant... More

Came here based on reviews on trip advisor and other sites. More than pleased with the decision. A small menu but not hard to find something to please almost any taste. Every course was delicious and very well presented. The location overlooking the Dordogne was every bit as lovely as expected. And the service could not be faulted. Sat outside... More

We've been lucky enough to stay within walking distance this week, so have been twice. Not cheap (c. €180 for three people, full menus, 2 bottles of wine), but worth every penny. The food is great, although expect a small menu. If you are fussy, this might not be the place to go. The hosts are excellent, and make such... More

this is a splendid restaurant worthy of a lunch or dinner visit. The ingredients are sourced locally and almost daily and are as fresh as can be! Menu changes frequently but favourites stay around a while. The cooking matches the need perfectly resulting in quite exciting plates of food. We have been here before as we live close by and...
