I stopped in for lunch while in Emporia for work. I got the ranch hand sandwich and the brownie. The bread is amazing - tastes like it's homemade fresh. That brownie is WILD but SOOOOO good - it's a brownie with marshmallow, cream cheese, and chocolate frosting. I was skeptical because of the marshmallow, but OMG it's the best thing... More

Very good lunch.. Loved the tomato bisque and the homemade bread. Easy to order and loved that it is in the old Kress building.

If you are needing a special gift or treat for someone or for yourself - this is the perfect place to head. Melt in your mouth sweets and packaged so attractive too. Holidays are extremely busy times.

The sandwiches here are awesome. All homemade bread and generous servings if meat and cheese. The potato salad is homemade and done of the best I have had. Don't forget to try the decadent brownies.

Amanda's is all about fresh made bread, and we're talking about fresh "home made out of the oven". Amanda's has fresh made soups and fantastic desserts also. The place can get a bit crowded, when people linger chatting or on their computers during lunch breaks, but that says how comfortable you feel being there.

I've ordered a different sandwich each time I've been to Amanda's, and each one has been delicious. The fresh homemade breads are wonderful, along with fresh ingredients make for the best sandwich. She also offers homemade soup and desserts. The cinammon rolls are huge and wonderful. You won't be disappointed with your visit.

Amanda bakes the most wonderful bread. Have a sandwich and see for yourself. All freshly baked right there in the restaurant. If you want a cinnamon roll (huge) you'd better get there early. Not much seating, but the service is really good and the staff are so friendly. Everything I've had was delicious.
