I was working in town and my client suggested Coach's for lunch. I had not been there in several years. The facility looked run down compared to what I remembered. Service was prompt and friendly. The food was adequate but not at all memorable.

Food and Service are average for the area. The physical facility is becoming very worn and badly needs to be upgraded. Would not discourage using the restaurant because it is average for the area.

Coaches is not a great place to eat! I had a salad and my son had nachos which were terrible. The service was not good either, staff seemed happier just to stand and talk. Nothing different or exciting to eat here!

Coach's used to be our fav in Emporia. They had good, plain food at reasonable prices. We quit patronizing this establishment in the past two years, however, because of the lack of cleanliness. The place has continued to decline...filthy carpet, walls, ceiling is patched with a variety of materials. The criteria I use in many restaurants is: how clean is... More

I gave this place a second chance when the first time our waitress's didn't even bring us our drinks after 15 minutes of waiting and finding our waitress was texting behind the hostess table. This time it took forever for us to receive our food and even than it was mediocre at best. I got the spinach artichoke dip and... More

All sports bars tend to taste the same to me... the chicken fried steak is good, and they have good nightly specials, so we tend to eat here more than some other places, but the food tastes pretty similar. The chicken strips are different however: they are hand breaded. This means that they have exceptional flavor, but in my opinion,... More

Coaches Restaurant was a typical sports bar restaurant. I went on a Sunday evening and expected the place to be crowded because of Sunday Night Football. However, the place was empty at 7PM. The food was mediocre. The waitress was average. It's a place to go and try.

Coach's used to be the place to go for good food in college. I was really disappointed to see what it has become. My food was not great. Chicken wings had no seasoning, no flavor. The group I was with ordered steaks. Not a single steak was cooked as ordered. Even the bar had limited selection of alcohol for mixed... More

Labor Day in a college town eatery was predictably slow. We were welcomed by a friendly staff and enjoyed a family gathering after driving about an hour. The "traditional" mozzarella sticks were, in fact GREAT! However, be warned that the so-called Ruben sandwich is a poor interpretation of the real thing. The meat was tough and suspiciously reminiscent of packaged... More

We visited this place at lunch hour on a weekday. The food didn't come for about 40min! People that came in after us were eating & done before we got anything on our table besides our drinks. We ordered hamburgers & sandwiches, nothing fancy, just greasy! One of our group overheard one of the waitresses tell our waitress that she... More
