We decided to meet up here with some friends for lunch. None of us had ever been before but what a treat. Not posh but just lovely 'oldy worldy' dark wooden tables. I had the carvery there were 3 meats, turkey, beef and pork (plus super crackle!!) The vegetables, well there were so many it was hard to count. Rarely... More

Stopped by here after driving passed many times on my way to work - it always looked pretty with lovely red flowering baskets outside. It has a large car park, small beer garden and a large fun play area for the kids with lots for them to do. Inside, it's pretty old fashioned to be honest - it's no posh... More

Visited here today with my husband to sample the carvery. We had made a reservation and although our table was very close to the bar with alot of activity going on, the food was brilliant. The meat was tender, the turkey just melted in your mouth, and the vegetables were all cooked to perfection - delicious. Definitely well worth a... More

Such good valve for money, went on a Tuesday night with 6 other friends, all having starters and mains, all came quickly and all tasted really good, couldn't fault it at all! Event though it was a Tuesday it was still pretty busy, I would recommend booking if attending in a large group! Well done The Plough & Harrow.

We booked our table for our party of 9 and as we arrived, we were shown to our table in a nice spot. We were happy, the children could walk out safely, not among the parking cars, to a nice size, well equipped playground. Our table itself was not so nice, it was covered in some sticky stuff; they tried... More

We went to the pub for a Sunday Carvery for a family Birthday! It was a nice atmosphere, a good range of drinks and certainly a good venue. The food when we got to the Carvery was very nice a huge choice of vegetables and good quality meats, certainly worth the £10+ cost. However, the restaurant was busy and we... More

We visited this pub by chance on our way back from Tewkesbury where we had been for a day out to celebrate my birthday. The staff were very friendly and we were shown to a table straight away but as it was such a sunny evening the sun was shining directly into my eyes. The waitress who came to take... More
