The three of us decided that to end a wet August Bank Holiday Weekend we would have a meal at the March Hare. We only had main courses but all three were brilliant! The portions were more than adequate, well cooked and well presented. We enjoyed the Gammon, Belly Pork and Ham, Egg & Chips, obviously one each!!! Can't wait... More

We visited today (Sunday) around lunch time, the place was very busy but very friendly, got served within about 5 minutes and the choice of vegetables on the carvery was second to non. We didn't have a dessert but they looked fabulous. We'll definitely be returning soon

Came here recently for the carvery been once or twice in the past, when ordering the carvery and a couple of drinks the staff behind the bar seemed to rush me to make a decision on the drinks. When finishing the carvery and going up for a desert which are displayed in a clear cabinet, I got spoken down to... More

My husband and I have visited this place twice, for lunch about a year ago and for dinner this week. Both times the place was pretty busy for midweek. My husband had the carvery and I had lamb shoulder from the specials menu for twice the price, but still only £12. Service was good and staff polite explaining how carvery... More

This is a nice place to have a carvery, the food is nicely presented with a good selection of meat and veg ( mind the plates are HOT and the food ) It's not over priced and the staff are friendly. Large car park. Can recommend and we will be returning again.

We've been coming here with my parents for awhile now and the food and service used to be pretty good, but it seems to have gone down hill in the last 6 months, food tastes as if it has been left to stew at the carvery station and I have even found a hair in the vegetables, when I pointed... More

Our first visit...won't be the last! Excellent carvery, choice of three meats, you could have some of each plus home made Yorkshires and served on really hot plates. The lovely fresh veg (12 in all) were very tasty and fresh, they definitely have chefs who know how to cook! The desserts were to die for, very good value for money,... More

Very good carvery with lots of vegetables. You do have to queue for food but still worth waiting for, especially at busy times
