Brilliant

The best carvery I've ever had and thats saying something as i've been to plenty of good ones. Everything is perfect but the icing on the cake is the roast beef, unbelievably good. You can also get a delicious home made dessert for only a pound. Get yourself down here!

Visited the March Hare twice recently and both times the food was great in fact the carvery is the best I've ever had. Generous portions with a good variety of vegetables which are not over cooked. Plenty of choice on the menu if you don't want the carvery and won't break the bank. Staff are helpful & friendly and there... More

Called here on a very wet Wed evening ,place is cosy and the carvery is tasty and hot . Lots of choice of fresh vegetables , they have a January SALE ! on , 2 courses for £ 7.95 p. Desserts looked lovely a large selection , we did not go for the offer much to my regret .

Called in for lunch New Year's Eve, having been some years ago and with positive reviews we were looking forward to a quality carvery. It wasn't too busy, the bar staff were friendly, we were offered a taste of the beer which was a nice gesture. Usual choice of meat, turkey, pork and beef plus a good selection of veggies.... More

Great selection of meats and good portions too! Counted ten different vegetables to fill the plate with. No carvery Mondays but a good value menu is provided instead. Good atmosphere and friendly staff.

Called in for a couple of excellent Banks's mild and pool on a walk. Friendly staff and the restaurant seemed fairly busy for a Friday lunch time. Did not here but the carvery is popular though not my type of thing.
