Lovely pub. Nice atmosphere . Friendly staff. Excellent Sunday lunch. Will go there again - can't wait for Sunday to come around again!

After hearing positive reviews, my family and I chose to go here for a three course Sunday lunch. The food was brilliant and definitely worth the price given the quality of food. My only complaint was there wasn't enough because it was just delicious.

This is a gem of a pub deep in the Kent countryside. The food and service is excellent and well deserved after a country walk! The quality is excellent and a wonderful surprise in this out of the way pub. Many thanks.

Today we had the most wonderful dinner at the dove at the recommendation of the people we rented a seaside cottage from. In short: it was the best dinner we had in a long time and we do eat out a lot. Chris and Dee are wonderfully warm and inviting hosts and for us, tow grandparents, two parents and two... More

My partner and I visited The Dove for lunch with our one year old daughter. The service we received from the owner was friendly and welcoming. We loved the decor and overall feel of The Dove. Its cosy and traditional but not stuffy. I ordered the pie and my partner the rissotto. Both dishes were presented excellently and tasted great.... More

The pub doesn't look much from the outside and inside it is quite rustic, but don't let that fool you, the food is excellent. We have been there twice now, the first time we ordered from the a la carte menu, not too many choices but there is something for everyones tastes. The second time we went on a sunday... More

The Dove lives up to expectations. The liver parfait was one of the best Ive tasted - and I have eaten all over the world.... We went for an anniversary lunch and it was very quiet. The bench seating isnt too comfortable if you have any kind of back problems but the funky bar stools made out of spades and... More

Relaxed pub, welcomes locals and visitors. Excellent food and service but not pretentious .Quirky bar stools & outside bar/bbq area made by local artisan. Look out for events. Great countryside. Dogs welcome. Pretty garden.

We booked a table 2 weeks in advance for Sunday lunch on my birthday. On arrival very busy in fact buzzing. Ordered drinks, bitter came up flat in fact no head looked liked cold tea, then the bar person disappeared, another bar staff check if we were eating. Yes we have booked, offered the bar table beside the front door,... More
