This is a place to be highly recommended and we will certainly be revisiting.

Restaurant can get a little busy (& noisy) at peak times - booking is essential. The Saturday evening 3 course set dinner requires a big appetite, but is always very good. Sunday dinner is always excellent. There are various theme nights during the week which are more affordable. The wine list is way too expensive.

When it comes to carveries I am usually a sceptic. This however was excellent. A choice of 3 superb meats with all the usual roast accompaniments, supported by a la carte starters & deserts, all beautifully cooked & presented. Good decor, friendly attentive staff and a more than adequate wine list rounded off a very enjoyable lunch.

We've returned to the Grey Goose again and again - quite simply the best Sunday Carvery around! Comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. Friendly welcoming staff, delicious food, generous portions of meat and a great selection of perfectly cooked vegetables. Lovely selection of desserts too - very good quality for the price. Hoping my next visit will be very soon!

This is a lovely restaurant, the staff are attentive and friendly, the food generally good. BUT, at my last visit, I decided on the risotto for my main and the summer mess for pudding and although they tasted lovely, the presentation of the food was a real let down. literally dolloped on a plate (both courses) There are some fantastic... I went to The Grey Goose on Sunday 19th July for a Carvery. I never really expect much when it comes to carvery's but I have to say The Grey Goose does an AMAZING Carvery. The meat was beautiful and you get a great portion the vegetables, stuffing and Yorkshire puddings were also very scrummy. I also had a desert... More

I cannot thank the bar staff; Amy and Martin, enough for making our trip to The Grey Goose on Saturday such an enjoyable evening. Despite the fact that we weren't dining, we were still made to feel very welcome and received the same attentive, and not intrusive, service as those who had come to dine in the restaurant. Amy created... More

once again we have had the pleasure to dine at The Grey Goose (about our seventh time). Wonderful welcome by Aunty Eva, and then the menu selection. Wow. We chose the "fish platter", what a plate full...... We couldn't manage a sweet as the platter exceeded our expectations. The only down side to our visit this time was that Louisa... More

Excellent food. Very well presented. Lovely ombiance. Food served at ideal intervals between courses friendly staff who were discreetly attentative. Visited for a special occasion as slightly more expensive than the average restaurant. However well worth it!
