The food was really good! I got the jaeger schnitzel and rhubarb custard streusel. They were amazing! The waitress was nice and got refills as needed but the service was slow to get the check and it wasn't split up so we had to wait longer.

Ate lunch here on our way to Chicago on 08/27/2013. Food was good, but not the same as what you would get at the Ox Yoke in Amana. It would be worth the drive into Amana to eat at the original Ox Yoke.

We always eat here at least one night for the German entrees or the regular American food and the great rhubarb pie.

We ate at the Ox Yoke in Amana. The waitress was older and grouchy. The food was just ok, not very hot and very over priced. Would not recommend this resturant.

We got the family style breakfast and it was amazing. A good value at $10 per person and all you can eat eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, juice and coffee, and much more!

This restaurant and the entire "Little Amana" village are a dilapidated shell of their former glory from the 80's and 90's. Very sad for an 80's child that spent many weekends here at the "Holidome" back in the days. Food is only average and now equivalent with the IHOPs, Perkins, and Denny's of the world.

This is the place for Herb and Emogene Stuntwyler. Herb can wheel his oxygen tank right up to the table. Plenty of places for diabetics to stask sharps. And the green jello? Sublime. This is one of the few places where you are served white bread and cottage cheese, and you feel good about it. At least the food is... More

We stayed over at the Wasserbahn for two nights over Thanksgiving weekend and had a great Thanksgiving meal here and 1 morning of breakfast. Food was a good german family style meal. They seem to be the only restaurant off of this exit that was prepared for the busy holiday/ Iowa football weekend. Other restaurants in the area had only... More

My fiancé and my parents stopped here after the Iowa Nebraska football game. My folks and fiancé had the Roast Beef and it was very tender and the flavor was great. My dad said the portion was smaller than the last order he had. They may have been running low do to the large number of game fans. I had... More
