Everything is amazing here

After having been to Italy with family this place held up to all my standards. I had the the bruschetta, Caesar salad, ribeye and dulce de Leche creme brûlée. Everything we had was very tasty. A great experience-a real must see in dining and decor. This is a family owned business and it shows.

This was an unplanned, happenstance stop with a delightful surprise! The owner greeted us at the hostess table and, despite not having a reservation on a Saturday night, created a table for two and were seated within minutes of arrival. The menu was not expansive, yet had variety to please multiple tastes. My husband and I each chose the 4... More

This restaurant is simply "off the charts" in excellence. I have traveled and dined all over the world from U.S. to Europe to Asia, and this restaurant is one of the tops! The artistic decor painted by the owner's son is amazing, but what really make this restaurant a cut above the rest is the wonderful food and personal service.... More

We very much enjoyed our four course meals which were excellently prepared. There could be some more interesting beers, but the place is obviously bent towards the wine crowd. The service was well executed. There are few places that will take your coat and push in your chair. It made me wish I had dressed a bit nicer. The art... More

3 couples and we didn't eat dinner. we just used the very comfortable basement area for conversation and some very good wine. The corking fee is fair at 10$ so we bring our own wine and buy many appetizers. The appetizers were delicious and the service was excellent. Highly recommend this if you are just out for a pleasant evening... More

This restaurant stands out for three reasons. 1) The decor is amazing! It's been featured in the international media. It's like you're actually in Rome. 2) The food is tremendous. 3) The service is off the charts! These folks really know how to treat customers. This is fine dining at very reasonable prices. You'd swear you were in Chicago or... More

Thanks to the consistency of food and warmth of the ownership here, this remains the finest restaurant in the Cedar Valley. We honestly feel that they are shorting themselves by offering an excellent tasting menu (they call an Ala Carte Menu), under priced in the $30 per person range, but that's unfortunately Iowa for you. Diners tend to want quantity... More

There are not enough stars for this fine restaurant. Do not be scared, for around 30.00 you can get a 4 course meal! Starter (appetizer), soup OR salad, (or both if you do not get an appetizer) main entrée, and dessert. That is really a good deal considering the quality of food and the environment and superior service. The filet... More
